The Nici

The hotel was beautiful, pool warm and staff lovely. Restaurant wasn’t up to standard but cocktails really yum.

From the minute we arrived until departure we were so impressed with everything about this incredible hotel! On arrival I was met by one of the very welcoming and helpful porters who made us at ease by assisting us with valet parking and storing our luggage until our rooms were ready as we arrived quite early in the day after disembarking our cruise early in the morning in Southampton. On entering the hotel we were immediately wowed by the decor, furnishings and artwork.. Check in was so efficient and everything explained to us about the facilities that the hotel has to offer, It was a beautiful day so we had drinks and lunch at South beach Restaurant and out on the terrace which was delightful with incredible service by so many staff. Our room which was a suite on the forth floor was incredible and once again the furnishings and quality of the whole room was even beyond anything we expected. The attention to detail is really amazing!! We explored the facilities and grounds and once again we were blown away by the Indoor Spa and the outdoor pool with terrace.. We have stayed in many nice hotels and cruise ships over the years but this was on a different level.. Dinner was so nice in the South Beach restaurant and also breakfast was so relaxed and food was of such a high standard! We are really looking forward to our next visit to the Nici which I'm sure we will make either a Pre cruise stay for our next cruise or Post cruise like what we did for this stay, especially as its not that far from Southampton. We will be back!

We visited the Nici for a spot of late lunch at Old Harry Rocks restaurant,have to say that the food and service and ambience was beyond my expectations. The Harry's combo is a must! I have to say a big thank you to Terry and his team for such a wonderful dinning experience will be visiting again soon. This is a real gem of a place whether your staying at the Nici or just visiting the area, you will not be disappointed.

Two days by the pool, the setting is incredible and the design of the Nici is exquisite. A gem in Bournemouth, the drinks are fantastic. The menu is great, Pawel served us and was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back. The chicken breast tastes incredible and the tomato mocktail is exceptional.

Super modern & friendly vibe at this top hotel. The rooms are immaculate and the hotel is beautifully situated on West Cliff. There is a heated outdoor pool with poolside furniture you’d normally expect to find on the continent. The staff are mega friendly and make you feel valued as a customer. The food and drink offer is excellent and reasonably priced. This time I was in Bournemouth on business, I won’t hesitate to return here for a family trip.

Lovely place always enjoy our stay , lovely surroundings & staff attentive . Our only gripe was the food at the Harry’s Rock restaurant adjoining. The portions were small & especially the prawn tapas dish at £16 for 3 prawns & flavour bit underwhelming .

Lovely linen, great shower. Beautiful outside pool. What let it down was the lack of attention to detail. Our towel radiator didn’t work and clearly hadn’t done for months. The bathroom smelt damp. Restocking of the room tea and coffee was inconsistent. One receptionist told us bikes were available but the next day her colleague said not because cycling was “ forbidden “ on the boulevard- it wasn’t in September! On the first day we were questioned about our breakfast booking- had been booked. We were asked again the next day which is not what one wants on holiday. The majority of staff are helpful but perhaps they need to be training together to be more of a team so the customer gets the same information. It could have been fabulous but it was pleasant. It wasn’t a five star experience unfortunately. As a result of us voicing the above we did get our car valet service as complimentary but we would rather have had a fabulous truly five star service. It was overpriced for what it was.
