very friendly hotel with excellent breakfast..Selina was super helpful and a very good cook!! nice view of the beach and lots of fresh air on the front. good linens and lots of towels....a very agreeable stay and charming atmosphere all round

Went here for our evening meals while staying nearby. Meals were poor small and definitely not worth the money. Staff service was confused slow and didn't listen properly to what we asked for. The guy who sounded to be American got our order completely wrong. Also lack of stock to actually complete the menu. Won't be going there again

Back again for your delicious Camembert dish.. i literally can’t get enough of it. Service is second to none and mouthwatering hot piping food. Big shoutout out to our lovely service from Jemma. We were fortunate enough to sit near a window this time so could see the sea 💜

Just had a great 3night stay at the commodore,the staff,from checking in to leaving were lovely so friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble,rooms are clean and very comfortable, we had a sea view think the majority have,the food in the pub is very good and not small portions,the offer on weekdays of 2main courses (from a good selection) and two drinks for£25 is excellent! We ate every night there, Thankyou for a lovely break and looking forward to our next visit!

The room was comfortable and had a great shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was really good. I had the Continental which included pastries, toast, yoghurt and fresh fruit. ( The blueberries were fantastic tasty plump ones !). Pleasant staff all round. Only down side was lift not working when we visited.

I was recommended by my friends who are locals to this pub (for quiz night) and we thought we would give it a go, staff were friendly however we were turned down food and told the kitchen was closed even though it was 20:40pm! Staff seemed confused, Not impressed!

Lovely room with amazing sea views. Hotel is in an excellent location right on the sea front, close to shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs and also has it's own restaurant and bar. Lovely little walk from hotel through a tree lined walk to the local shops, cafes, etc. Thank you very much for making us so welcome.

The room was ok clean. But very noisy outside pub,music going on till late at night. We didn't get served at the bar,was told to get our drinks at the tent outside, which had run of beers but were only serving prosecco by the bottle. So as to get you to spend more money. WE LEFT. Breakfast was,awful, and served cold.toast got stuck in the toaster, tea and coffee cold. Staff took ages to come with your order.

Last minute booking for a large family was told might be a little bit of a wait for food as of staff shortages also it was plainly visible on the bar notice board . But our meals all came out together have waited longer else where. But you can’t please everybody in the party service was good and so was the food. For location the food and a good choice was value for money and would come back again and the parking in the surrounding area is free . Thanks to the staff and hopefully be back soon
