Logis - Hotel & Restaurant la Corne D 'Abondance

We stayed here last week on our drive to Germany. It is wheelchair friendly, the room we had was lovely and the food served was excellent! Especially the oysters. The people running the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. We would gladly stay here again

This is the second year we have stayed here on the start of our annual French holiday. The owners are so welcoming and friendly, speaking good English and forgiving of our pigeon French! The hotel was an eclectic mix of decor and facilities, with secure parking which was a bonus as we could leave items in the car overnight. The room was clean and well kitted out for our needs and we had a lovely evening meal and breakfast before heading out on the rest of our journey. Will hopefully be returning next year and would certainly recommend.

Lovely welcome by the lady who owned the place, sat out on the patio with a wine and a lovely refreshing cocktail of the house. We had requested a room in the new part which was lovely. Very modern, clean, comfortable bed, the bathroom had a good shower but the whole room I think is designed as a wet room so water gets everywhere when having a shower but there is a squidgy to dry the floors with which worked great other wise you could easily slip (although could have done with a handle on it to save bending). We could not get the air conditioning to work, apparently there was a fault and not user error but when we booked the room we did not know it had air con and had booked a high level room so we could sleep with the window open which is what we did. Unfortunately it was Saturday night and guests were staying at the hotel who had been to a wedding, returning, very rowdily between 2-4 in the morning, so sleeping with the window open led to a rather disturbed night otherwise a very peaceful area. They had private parking with a secure locked gate which was great. We had booked the gourmet break for one night and we were really looking forward to it but I have to say that the meal was pretty poor. It was not to French standard at all, like something you would expect from a really bad chain pub restaurant at home. Such a shame that this let it down, I unfortunately hand on heart have to say that it was the worst meal we had had in our 4 weeks touring around france. I can recommend the hotel, the lovely, helpful owners but would say eat elsewhere or bring a sandwich!

We stopped off overnight at this super hotel in the pleasant town of Bourgtheroulde, on our way from The Loire to the Channel Tunnel. What an amazing find! We had booked and we received a warm welcome from Madame Tina the hotel owner , and all the help we needed! We enjoyed a well presented evening meal and after a comfortable nights sleep in one of the newer rooms, (right by where our loaded car was securely parked), a satisfying continental breakfast. Tina and her staff were very friendly and efficient. We thoroughly recommend this Logis as it is a convenient distance from the Chunnel and Ferry Ports…. and we fully intend to use it again!

Ancien relais de poste , avec une partie de l'hotel tout neuf , avec des chambres spacieuses actuelles. Restaurant dans le relais avec une belle salle à manger avec une belle cheminée. Cuisine , avec des plats bien servis et bon. Pdj buffet correct dans une autre salle sans charme.

Goede ontvangst. Goed restaurant. Verzorgde kamer. Goed ontbijt. Zeer goede bakkers in de buurt. Mogelijkheden om ook eens te wandelen in de omgeving
