Perfect location with a gorgeous garden and views. Lovely traditional bedrooms and a fantastic breakfast . Everything here is authentic and a perfect hostess. We love it .We arrived by taxi and used the local buses which were better than we expected and very cheap .Eating and drinking in nearby Ferry was very good but we didn’t rate the nearby Hotel Rayon Vert . We stayed for 3 nights at the villa. Isabel is a wonderful host. She is really friendly and helpful and she takes the time to get to know her guests. The rooms are compact but comfortable and the public area has a great section of comfy chairs to lounge in. Every night at 7pm Isabel and the other guests gather here which is a really nice way to meet everyone else. The pool is lovely and the views are amazing. Breakfast is amazing. I loved it. And Isabel had great restaurant recommendations for evening meals. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Guadeloupe

I travelled here as an independent traveller with a friend following a huge following of the British ,over the series Death in Paradise. Le Rayon Vert was a fabulous place to stay . The rooms were very private with each having a very picturesque terrace overlooking the garden and the local bay . They were spacious with a great wet room area , large bathroom and a reasonable sized fridge . Rooms were exceptionally clean with beds made up every morning.Sheets and towels were replaced every few days . The public area which consisted of a communal area of restaurant, bar, pool area was very spacious. The included breakfast was very good , plenty for every taste . There was always a different member of staff on duty each morning. Billy was fantastic and very friendly but there was a blonde lady who refused to make the effort with us , we always joked , she hates the English !! I think she was just miserable ! We ate at the hotel restaurant on one evening only . I found it to be exceptionally expensive for an average meal . We observed that although predominately French speaking , our attempts at French language as English speakers were ignored and shut down . No interest from the young to engage or learn from other cultures despite our best efforts. Many reviews make mention of the need for a hire car . I beg to differ ! We managed with taxis , pre booked and trips organised from the UK in advance. We spent about £300 in total in taxis over 12 days . Significantly cheaper than a hire car for 12 days I think. We had a fantastic stay but previous reviews mention a lack of genuine warmth from the owners .. I have to stay that I tend to agree with this comment . Whilst we were always greeted with a Bon Soir from the owners , it was felt to be a generic comment with little sincerity . I would definately stay again but I am an independant traveller who likes to do her own thing , as does my friend . If you are looking for a place to stay with support from your hosts , this may not be the place for you .

We loved everything about villa rayon vert! Isabel, the owner, made sure our stay was perfect. We do not speak French well so she recommended and then booked restaurants for us and found us the best places to dive and snorkle. Every night she would make cocktails and put out snacks. She is fun, warm, informative and helpful. Plus the view, pool and hot tub makes this place beautiful and relaxing. It’s close to town with many restaurants but very private and peaceful. And the included breakfast was a feast. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Had a great meal here on my birthday earlier this month. Server (and cook!) was very friendly and took time to explain what was in each dish. There is a limited but delicious menu and it’s so good to know nothing dead is being sneaked onto your plate! Good drinks too. Pleasantly calm and friendly atmosphere with an international feeling on our visit. Definitely a place to seek out for a good, wholesome meal. Ten out of ten!! Thank you Soleil Vert.

Nous n’avons pas logé dans ce petit hôtel mais simplement profité de son restaurant. La carte est limité : quelques entrées et quelques plats très classiques. Nous avons pris deux entrecôtes avec salade et frites. Rien à reprocher ni à la cuisine ni au service. Rien d’original mais une honnête cuisine a des prix tout à fait corrects.

Comme d’habitude depuis janvier 2015, quand je suis en Guadeloupe, j’ai séjourné à la villa rayon vert. L’accueil d’Isabel est irréprochable, les petits déjeuner un régal, et Isabel le prépare quand on veut... Que du bonheur ! Le plus dur c’est quand il faut repartir

Le cadre les bungalow la piscine super jolie. Le parking restreint oblige de se gare dehors car pas de place. Les repas sont super bon sauf qu'il oublie l'accompagnement des fois et vous traite de menteur quand vous le signaler photo l'appui. Le petit déjeuner si vous arrive à 8h45, il n'y a plus grand chose et quand vous faites la remarque Le responsable vous dit que si les autres client ne disent qu'il sont des ' faux q'. C'est au client d'aller demander à chaque fois qu'il n'y plus de jus, beurre, et venoiserie, la réponse je cite : il ne reste plus que sa donc faite comme vous pouvez. Donc résultats obligé d'aller dans une boulangerie pour manger, car le responsable a dit qu'elle ne peux pas gèré les repas des gens, donc si vous venez vous reposer et prendre un petit déjeuner vers 9h en fesant la grasse matinée c'est fichu. Donc au final elle dit que ne peux pas gère ceux qui mange plus, donc le petit déjeuner est gratuit si ya un ou deux personnes qui mange pas c'est pas grave.

Un séjour de 15 jours dans cet hôtel. Le cadre est magnifique, la piscine a débordement donne sur la baie, les bungalows disséminés dans le domaine sont très accueillants, tous avec une terrasse donnant sur la baie. Bien équipés, lit double, téléviseur, réfrigérateur, coffre fort, rien ne manque. Le restaurant quand à lui nous a enthousiasmé, en demi pension nous n'avons jamais eu le même repas en deux semaines. Un jour poisson, le lendemain viande, tout local, très bon et en quantité! Le matin, petit déjeuner avec viennoiseries à profusion, fruits, charcuterie, œufs,... Bref un hôtel que je recommande, le personnel y étant de plus efficace et très agréable. A noter, il me semble indispensable de disposer d'un véhicule.
