Hostel20 Bordeaux Hifrance

I stayed at Hostel20 for just one night. It proved a great choice to experience the tiny, enchanting and welcoming town of Bayonne and its Basque heritage. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and the location is great. It's only a few minutes away from the railway and bus stations (or at least, the Flixbus stop, only a couple streets away from the Gare centrale) in the Petit Bayonne, across the river from the old town (Grand Bayonne) but no less nice. Actually, crossing the river can be quite spectacular, but I'm digressing.

Accolti al bancone in modo gentile,l ostello all apparenza è discretamente pulito alla reception ,ma già salendo le scale si nota una moquette poco igienizzata (la sensazione è che non venga pulita da diverso tempo)le stanze appaiono salubri a prima vista ,ma notiamo immediatamente la presenza di sgradevoli insetti nel letto e sul pavimento ,inoltre le lenzuola non sembrano particolarmente pulite,abbiamo chiesto una coperta che presentava diverse macchie . Durante la notte risveglio con bruciore sulla schiena , allorché accedendo la luce ho trovato sgradevoli ospiti , camminare sul letto .Chiesto il cambio di stanza alla direttrice,ma impossibilitato da un ostello pieno.Spruzzato il DDT ovunque .chiesto un parziale rimborso senza riscontro ,inoltre mentre stavamo andando via un asciugamano era pieno di formiche ,la direttrice non ha mostrato sorpresa nel ricevere la notizia The staff received us kindly .The hostel apparently looks quote clean,but getting upstairs we noted a moquette not really cleaned(the ourfeeling Is that the stairs had not be cleaned since a long time),the room seems to be hygenized ,but we immediately realized the presence of not really appreciated bugs on the bed as well as on the floor...moreover the sheets don 't look particularly cleaned .We asked for a cover but that showed several spots everywhere .Over night we could feel a bad sensation along the backbone.the ants were walking on my body also they were biting me .We asked for a change of room but the hostel was completely full.The inique solution left was to spray the bugs repellent, we asked for a partial refund but without receiving any answer..Also while we were going out, we noted that a towel was covered with ants,the director was not Surprise about issues detected.
