This is my 4th time to have vacation in Boracay. First, La Carmela, Hennan Regency and last was in Discovery. We are total of 16 in a group and 2 kids… and it was side of my husband’s first time to go there. They had booked their hotel in Erikos last August 2024. At first, I was undecided to come due to some circumstances. But I tried to check other hotels near Erikos. Last January 2025, i finally booked for 2 in Le Soleil de Boracay for 17k from Feb 1 to Feb 4. (3N4D) The booking was under my name and my husband. My 2 kids, one was a minor and the other 1 was 22 years old with his girlfriend and a 5-year old kid booked in Peninsula Boracay. Since they are an immediate family they visit me very early and late at night…
There are free breakfast for 2.. On the 2nd day, I asked my son, his girlfriend and the 5 year old kid to consume the free breakfast and just pay the kid, because me and my husband are on fasting… I told my son to go to recep and just AJ the room number. (i normally do this in abroad or always in boracay because I believed its part of what I paid for) AJ asked for my son’s ID. My son said “it was upstairs”and not with him. AJ assumed then that my son slept in our room. They talked to me and I explained that my son and daughter just visit me early and we leave late at night.
When my husband passed by the recep, they asked him, how many are you? My husband replied we are 6. And they assumed that they are all sleeping with us.
When I passed by again last Feb 2, the recep area the AJ approached me again with his Manager Faith and told me that I will be charged 18k until I checked out. Because of 1500 per head per day. They keep on insisting that they have CCTV camera and the security has been reporting regarding us. They also insisted that breakfast is not transferrable and they said it was written on the policy they gave me. However, it was not stated. Manager Faith and AJ kept on insisting that on Front Desk and other guests could hear it and I felt humiliated. I asked for Tripco assistance, and helped me to cancel the remaining days however, as per Tripco, the Hotel Management rejected it. I sent a message to the FB page of Le Soleil, hoping their top management would take action on the approach of their staff but they never took action. Actually I am not a usual complainant of a customer service. Despite of their slow service and deadma service when I asked for extra cups, extra towel that they did not attend. The cleanliness of the area I can let them pass. The tiles on CR are very dirty you would not want to touch or lay a finger on it, the are are full of algaes. They claimed it was Beachfront hotel however you have to walk very far passing the swimming and garden just to reach your room. Elevator was also not available. So daily for how many times you have to walk and climb. I can let them all pass. You can see the actial pictures. On the day of check out AJ told me to I have an extra 9k to pay because of 1500 per head per day charge.. 6k on the first day feb 2, 1500 feb 3 and 1500 Feb 4🤣. I asked them why everyday because they said they saw my daughter always comes with me. I asked them they have CCTV as they claimed why they did not record that my daughter just go to my room to get her “LAMPIN” because she cannot sleep at night, then leave the Hotel to go to Peninsula Boracay.So they insisted to just pay the 6k on feb2. I told them that those following me inside the hotel were 5 year old kid and 10… and 2 adults… at first Manager Faith insisted me to pay 6k but I insist they were kid so she agreed to pay 4k only. So I paid to end the conversation because I will be late for my flight. And just because Tripco had heen very helpful. I check out the hotel and left, but I remember I should have record of my payment which they did not issue any record or receipt so I came back and asked AJ. Was this a power trip?
