Best Western Plus Kootenai River Inn Casino Spa

Highest rated hotel we have been to on our entire visit to Montana this summer. Hospitality was excellent and the customer service was outstanding! Everyone we encountered was willing to go that extra mile for us. Our room was fabulous, extremely comfortable bed and chairs to sit on. The shower was exhilarating and very clean. Then the biggest surprise was a menu breakfast was included. We had the Country Fried Steak with eggs and very crispy hash browns, and the sausage gravy was delicious. The Tex Mex Omelette tasted just like a Taco. The rye toast on both plates was fresh, thickly cut and just enough butter to enhance the flavor of the bread. We were very impressed with everything about our stay, even though we didn’t win in the casino. They had one area with smoking which was so disgusting, but we spent most of our time in the 2 other areas where there was no smoking.

The view from our room was fabulous. Make sure to try and request a River view. Loved the fact there was a Casino in the lobby and all the amenities. Highly recommend visiting if you are passing through Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho this was the best quick decision we made and thank goodness there was availability in the area. There is even an underground walk-through tunnel to ‘cross under the street’ with more access to other amenities including a Museum (it was closed by the time we arrived and departed). Check out Best Western Plus you will not be disappointed

Check-in by Heidi was very nice! We were in room 238, which was very clean and huge; I opted not to book a river view room (too bad, because the Northern Lights were spectacular); we had a desk, table with two chairs, a bench for luggage, a chair and a side table; the sink is outside the shower/toilet, which was very nice. The room had plenty out outlets, all amenities, including make-up remover and shower cap; we found the A/C to be loud and it didn't cool enough. The doors are extremely heavy and the ice cubes were lousy; we were delighted to see real coffee mugs and real glasses in the room (I very much dislike the plastic stuff). The included breakfast was wonderful; great service, yummy food and view of the river.

We enjoyed our getaway to Bonners Ferry, and loved our stay at the Best Western Plus, Kootenai River Inn and Casino!! The beds are super comfortable and the Riverview rooms are definitely worth getting!! The staff are very friendly and the view of the Kootenai River is a wonder to experience!!!

Always a good time, mostly adults so most of the time quiet with comfortable access to pool. Love the the restaurant and room service is nice. The casino is nice and small not loud like other places . I have only stayed in river rooms and love that you can see mother nature up close. Bring binoculars is a must.

A great place for a relaxing visit. Great room, friendly staff. And some fun in the casino. The casino staff were pleasant and was great it was really nice to have a non smoking area in the casino! The food and service in the restaurant were excellent! A nice short walk to the downtown area for a look around town.

Beautiful rooms and view, restaurant food was great! There was a storm that caused a major power outage, but things were handled exceptionally, as staff did all that they could to keep us safe and well taken care of. Great place with amazing customer service!

Once more I am very impressed with my stay at Kootenai River Inn. During my stay we had a power outage due to a severe storm. The staff were very helpful and provided updates when available. They were all very accommodating. Adam the General Manager of the resort was both reassuring and empathetic to his guests. This to me is a true measure of service. That is when there is an emergency, or situation it is how it is handled. We'll done Adam and all the staff at the resort. I felt safe and taken care of well.

The front desk clerk at check in told us that we were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite. Great. Now the bad news. It was a measured more than 1/8 mile from the front desk, one floor up in an elevator, and another one floor up a flight of stairs. We are seniors and had luggage. We requested no upgrade, just the room we reserved on the first or second floor closer to the elevator. While he was polite, he didn't resolve our problem. But, "Thank you for being a Platium Rewards Member." Wow. That made us feel great as we schlepped our bags the length of the building and up a flight of stairs.
