Crystal Paraiso Verde Resort & Spa - Ultimate All Inclusive

We arrived at the hotel late on Wednesday night . We were shown to the late restaurant for food after travelling all day . We chose chicken basket which arrived burnt and cold it consisted of chicken nuggets onion rings and fries we didn’t eat it . I have enclosed pictures . When we were told where our room was I enquired if there was a possibility of a ground floor but the reception told us we had a better room on the first floor ! I dread to think What the other room looked like ! The hotel is advertised and sold as a 5 star all inclusive resort and spa ! We booked with easy jet who I have valued in the past . Our room was filthy on arrival , the mini bar fridge was empty and there was no tea or coffee milk or sugar in the room. There is no way of contacting reception from the room as the phone doesn’t work so we had to go down to reception to ask fur the basics , including water to get us through the night . Reception staff are rude in fact I have only met 2 pleasant staff since being here . The first day we didn’t use the room clean as we were not settled and still tired from our late arrival . We took our time to get orientated . To be honest the whole place looks like council estate flats ( I have no problem with council estates I grew up on one ) just trying to paint a picture. The pool area is okay, although not cleaned regularly and never any knifes and forks to eat . This is where you’ll find the better food . Again don’t be fooled into thinking it’s good it’s just better than the restaurant . Do be careful of the chicken though I’ve enclosed a picture of the raw chicken we were served ! The drink choice is minimal , you cannot help yourself to coffee for instance and have to queue for it . With a load of others as there is only one coffee machine serving the whole restaurant . Again orange juice is not self service you have to queue for this too . There is not her choice either no apple juice available . The food is disgusting , not much choice , either pasta or pizza , burgers and a range of concealed cheeses , chicken dishes and desserts . If you’re lucky you may get some fresh fish in the outside area but I’ve only managed to get that once . The butter is off and smells like gone off milk . I could go on and on but you get the picture . Back to the rooms the shower floods every time you get in it so you have to have a very quick shower and then partner has to wait for theirs as if you kept short running it would flood . There are no top sheets on the beds so you have to sleep with the blanket straight on you which personally I don’t like . I think any 4 star plus hotel would have this as a basic . There is a quiet adult only pool , however the only drinks served there are Coke Zero water and beer . The hotel is in the middle of nowhere which is fine but be prepared and bring thins with you as there is only one small market that sells things like cigarettes and drinks close by . I don't understand how this hotel have 5 stars. When we checked in Receptionist don't speak English or Russian ,but most of the guests is Russian speaking. Zero information about hotel Room was very dirty and dusty, Bed linen dirty and whit holes Toilet seat broken Safe not working actually 2 safes I can right more things but I don't want to thing about this DISCASTIN PLACE never will be back .

We come home tomorrow and are very ready to do so. Hotel is great but definitely not a 5 star due to rude staff and no allergy information. Let’s start with the positive - Our housekeeper was brilliant and always did such a good job on our room - the men staff at the main pool bar and excellent and will always go out of their way for you. - plenty of food and drinks around the pool - big pool and loads of sunbeds (although have to get in there early to get one) - beach is great and sporting activities are responsibly priced (90 euro for 2 on a jet ski for 15 mins and 150 euro for a jet car) - shuttle service to beach is a great add on however will finish at 6:30 Negatives: - false advertisement. The smokehouse which is advertised as steak is not and has tiny portions, also, shows were advertised for the evening entertainment which didn’t happen. - the women behind the pool bar are extremely rude - the girls advertising nails are rude and always on their phones - massive language barrier ( I understand not everyone speaks English however we got dismissed and pushed to one side a lot) - the food labels are often wrong and do not have any allergy information on them - the photo men are extremely rude and very pushy! We wanted 5 photos (10 euro each) however they wouldn’t allow us just 5 and went on and on and even stated the minimum photo is 10 (meaning 100 euro spent on photos) -food is very repetitive - entertainment team did not bother with people who spoke English and would never get us involved with darts etc. -dirty marks on the toilet seat, limescale covered the shower and tiles in the bathroom -broken and dirty tiles in the pool - can not book excursions through the hotel but have to book them through the market outside the hotel (who were brilliant!) -not enough seats for late night entertainment Overall I would not rate this hotel a 5 star, more a 4 star at best!
