A Little Guesthouse

We had a lovely stay at the guesthouse. There was really lovely thoughtful touches, to little chocolates on the bed to home made rusks for the morning. Will stay there again.

Service and stay was excellent. Staff were brilliant and very friendly. In Bloemfontein it will always be my first choice.

Don't be mislead by the "Little" in the name of this fantastic guesthouse - it offers BIG comfort, neatness, safety and tranquility! Each room is fitted with everything a guest could need, and more. I have tried the rest and have now found the best.

I was looking for a place to overnight in Bloemfontein as I was going on a lengthy roadtrip. I came across "A little guesthouse" which had numerous favorable reviews. I booked and arrived there on a Friday afternoon. I was greeted by Annelie who is the owner. She is a truly delightful person. She is fully bilingual so is able to deal with most South Africans. I had a very nice room - unit 4 - which has covered parking which is something that most guesthouses etc don't have. About 7pm there seemed to be a problem with the water. Contacted Annelie and within 10 minutes she had the problem sorted out. The next morning I was the only person who had breakfast there ( there were a number of other residents there but they left earlier) . So, being the only person there, I 41¾Annelie made the breakfast (very nice breakfast) and sat with me while I ate. We had a wonderful chat which just reinforced my assessment of what a charming person she is. I would strongly recommend her guesthouse for a lovely stay.

What a gem. Talk about taking into consideration the little things that one might need or even want when their travelling. From an umbrella to a sewing kit and a panic button and playing cards on the room. We really felt at home and I'm totally sold on the place.
