We stayed in a 1BR unit, it’s very spacious for two people. The sleeping arrangement is a bit unusual with the queen size bed in the living area and 2 single beds in the bedroom. The unit is nice and bright with a pleasant outlook, is clean and has a decent kitchen for quick meal preparation and coffee/tea making. Easy to walk to restaurants and nearby shops.

Pros: Good location, easy parking, free washing machines, very friendly owner
Cons: Single pane windows that don't seal well let in all the traffic noise, shower pressure/flow was terrible, bathroom sink so small it was basically useless, pool small and not heated.
For the price though, ok stay.

Very friendly owners. Provided lots of information about places to eat / local shops. Room was very clean with a good variety of tea and coffee provided.

Our brief stay at the Colonial Motel was wonderful. We called to let them know we’d be checking in late and the owners son was very helpful when we arrived. The unit had everything we needed and very close to town for dining options.

Lovely simple accommodations - perfect for visiting Marlborough. Many restaurants are within walking distance, easy parking. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

The accommodation was wonderful and it had everything we could need. We used the small pool and also the laundry. Some motels charge for the use of the laundry but it was free to use and had washing powder if needed. Simon was great and very knowledgeable and seemed to want all his guests to gain the most from their stay. We hired bikes and did our own wine tour which was great fun. I would recommend this motel

We had a lovely stay here, the units are very comfortable, clean and cozy. Everything you need is right there in the unit. The Etheredge’s are brilliant hosts that make you feel very welcome. Would highly recommend 😊

Beautifully presented room with lovely toiletries and coffee machine and choice of teas etc. The only thing that wasn’t perfect in the room was the tiny bathroom sink! The road it is on was quite noisy and closing the windows didn’t help much!
