Arch Canyon Inn

Very poor service from the clerk at check on 5/14/2025. Unfriendly is an understatement! Avoid Blanding if travelling in Utah. Not a friendly town. They made it clear at the last vote on ending the ban on alcohol that tourists are not welcome. The woman at the welcome center was rude as well.

The receptionist was very unpleasant and unhelpful. Upon arrival, she didn’t even greet us and provided no basic information about our stay. While we were filling out the necessary paperwork, her only focus was on getting us to quickly confirm the credit card PIN. She handed us the room number in a cold, indifferent manner and didn’t explain where the room was located. We received no information about breakfast or any hotel services—everything had to be asked for specifically, and even then it felt like we were bothering her. This is not the kind of welcome one expects at a hotel.

Check in was easy & plenty of parking available. Room was very clean & comfy which is just what we needed! All facilities worked within the room as expected with no issues (tv/shower/ac unit). Stayed on ground floor room so unsure if elevators available. No breakfast at this hotel, but hot water available from the reception area (which was needed for babies bottles!). Check out was simple- phoned through to back room from the desk as directed when empty, where someone then came out. Would stay again!

Very nice front desk, Manger was there for a min. had a good talk with him. Very clean and comfortable. Room was very cozy and clean. Stayed there once before and will stay there again. Very quiet, easy to get to.

Tired motel. Used to be a Super 8. We knew this going in, and the price was what we appreciated. The whole place was stale. The security lock on our door was broken off, and the corners in the tiles bathroom were grungy. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked. The TV worked, and we actually booked another night because there is just so much to do in the area. We loved Natural Bridges. We also think someone opened their door onto our rental car, because we had a dent in the morning.

Stayed here on a whim during a road-trip. The hotel I originally booked online (and paid a pet deposit for) told me at check-in they no longer allowed pets. Found this place online. Prices were incredibly cheap but the rooms were VERY clean. Surprisingly clean considering the room was half the price of the originally planned hotel. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Next to a great grocery store and near to cheap gas. The food at the local diner was top notch. Highly recommend.
