Waters Edge

What can I say about this hotel! So much. We stayed here recently as we are from Essex and we are huge enthusiasts for the theme park side of the UK and surrounding areas. We chose to come down to Black Pool Pleasure Beach for my 21st birthday and we was not disappointed. We was welcomed into the hotel by a very warm and friendly man called Paul. He showed us around the hotel and escorted us to our room which we loved in every way. The room was soo cozy and had such a homely vibe to it! Even though we were 6hours from home we still felt we was there. The room was cared for extremely well, everything was very clean and tidy. I myself have OCD so my expectations are high! These were extremely satisfied upon arrival. Everything was so easy to operate within the room. Our bed was absolutely gorgeous, We have never truly felt this way about any hotel we have stayed in. The lady called Josie we believed to be the owner was so approachable and even had her own shop to sell wax melts of any kind which we thought was so lovely! I’m general our stay was amazing and we will most definitely be coming back to stay with them. I highly recommend to any couples or families that want an affordable, loving, cozy and homely feel hotel, and not to mention the hotel is a 5minute walk from all attractions such as pleasure beach, the piers and all of the nearby shops and attractions. Hotel location was good, however the cleanliness was not great. If I was a contractor it would have been fine, however not for family. The bed was comfortable just not clean.

Room was lovely, everybody was so friendly and welcoming, everything was lovely and clean, we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate in staying again So close to everything that South Pier has to offer.

Did not really spend much time at accommodation as busy in Blackpool. Had a great couple of nights. Wonderful location for the water park and pleasure beach too. Room comfortable and clean. 😊

It states on here that parking is free at this hotel however there is none. This is the main reason we booked this hotel. It is a good location for south blackpool. Took around 20/30 minutes to walk to blackpool centre

You tube and wifi good Heater too close to the bed.. Door draughty...could see outside around the door

The hosts weren’t there to greet us upon arrival. A worker who was fortunately enough was standing outside called the hosts/owners to give us codes to enter the doors and door key for room. Indoors,front room was full of boxes bags Chris**as decorations etc. nowhere for guests to sit apart from room. (No lounge ). The room was decorated nicely though. Quite modern unfortunately the sheets were stained (fake tan ) and a few others. Some hairs too. Toilet light not working and difficult to contact owners. Would say guest house is ok for a base or overnight but would not stay longer. No facilities for breakfast. Good location. Right next to promenade at central pier. Parking is not great, only street parking which prove to be difficult but it is a busy time of year.

The property was great Value for money, clean convenient and did the job for a one night stay.

Last minute weekend break for me and my little boy, booked on a few hours before arrival. Very sceptical when seeing the price I paid, but very very happily surprised on arrival. Stayed in room 6, not big room, but worked perfect for the two of us. Comfy double bed, sea view, TV that actually works (rare in budget hotels), wifi that actually works (same comment applies), met the cleaning lady on our way out, very friendly and helpful. Smooth check in contactless process, clear and concise instructions sent via email. Will be staying again
