Mardi Gras Hotel

Very, very , very noisy from 10.30 to 3am approx. And in need of extreme modernisation , food poor quality, not a nice experience at all . If you want a peaceful good quality holiday then go else where.. Please do not waste your money I wish we had read the other reviews before we stayed here. We had to sit in our car until 3am in the morning before the chance of the music to stop ( booming ) playing for a few hours to try and get a few hours sleep. In the end we had to cut our holiday short to return home, because I could not stand it any more. AWFUL PLACE.

Just had another fabulous night at Mardi Gras celebrating a friend’s birthday! Bar prices as reasonable as ever and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic!!!! And l stayed over, my first staycation this year and room was clean and comfortable and the staff as Friendly and helpful as always! Thank you once again for wonderful hospitality xxx

My partner and I spent 15 nights in this wonderful hotel in mid November. The staff can't do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. Would especially like to thank John, Tony, Donna, Aaron, Jake, Luke, David and Jayne for making our stay so enjoyable. We were made to feel like part of the Mardi Gras family from the time we walked in. Would also like to make a special mention to Elsie Duchess, who treated us like friends. Can't praise this hotel enough. 10/10 Will be back in April 2025.

This was our third stay this year ,and it only keeps getting better.Room 5 was a lovely room ,clean but must say a bit cluttered,great shower ,good night’s sleep which is important to us.Breakfast was a treat ,with Steve serving us food was plentiful,tasty.The staff are the life and sole of this hostel,they are so friendly and professional.just booked for our first stay of 2025.keep doing what you’re doing.P.S Donna is a pleaser to meet.

this has to be the worst hotel if you can call it that. filthy dirty, damp and stinks. the drinks are cheap rubbish placed in real bottles served by very rude staff and one with a baseball hat who's not the full shilling. the owner loves to walk into rooms when he feels like it or try his luck with customers on grindr. The old woman who serves breakfast puts you right off eating and bye the way its yesterdays cooked rubbish your eating. The entertainment is just awful and old man on a Sunday in dress playing absolute drivel. the bar is also in need of a good clean. beware they have sticky fingers too. WILL NEVER BE BACK and will let as many i know traveling to Blackpool in the future to give this place a wide berth.

Have stayed a few times. Firstly I would recommend booking direct by phone, prices are sometimes half that compared to listings on 3rd party sites. Rooms are good in terms of comfort, space and cleanliness, ensuite bathrooms are sometimes basic. The hotel includes a lively bar which is great, and it didn't interfere with my sleep. However if you are looking for a quiet place it's maybe not what you need. Included in the price is a good breakfast, with options ranging from fruit to a fry up. Overall I would say a good place to stay offering excellent value if booked direct.
