Tropics Beach Hotel

Easy to check in.Just ring a number and he is there in 5 minutes .Clean and tidy room.Tv and kettle.Small bathroom. Good size bed.Room 5 with stopped in.Good location. 5 minutes to North pier. No breakfast at hotel, but Spoons a 5 minutes walk.

Been this hotel a hand full of times thought it was perfect never had a problem before untill this trip, was by far the worst experience, stayed in room 8 on the top floor it was aboustley freezing, you cant put the heating on if needed cause theyve put it on a timer, the stentch in the room is disgusting it smells of DAMP and off milk, it was vile the carpet was wet through all at the bottom of the bed, when you use the shower it let's off a horrible smell of FISH in the room and bathroom, the shower door was hanging off so you couldnt shut it, The shower is also crap. Goes freezing cold then boiling hot its alright if you get a 2 second shower. When you ring up to tell them you have a problem the man comes over from the hotel opposite pissed as a fart not even arsed about the problem just says "it will be fine to stay here we never had a problem before in this room, we're fully booked up so we carnt move you" basically just doesn't give a crap about their guest, you could see they have had a leak on the walls so why not fix the problems in your hotel and shut it untill it's back to good standards like it used be, can definitely tell its changed since the women has left, never experienced anything like this before when she was there! Definitely wouldn't stay here again what a run down hotel, Only positive they let you come in earlier than 2 if needed.

From outside it doesn't look that good but once through the door it is an amazing place. Owner was very helpful and friendly and our room was spotless with everything you needed. Big room with comfy bed, nice ensuite spotlessly clean. Big tv and good tea and coffee facilities. Would definitely return here.

Stayed here last night due to its close proximity to the train station and a few mins to Funny Girls, their Spring show which was brilliantl Wasn’t expecting much due to some reviews, but to be honest it was absolutely fine and I would happily stay again. We stayed in room 9 on the top floor, the family suite for 5.Nothing flash but all clean, comfy beds and perfectly fine. They also run the local Cuban bar 2 doors down which was a great little place to go for some pre-show drinks.

I stayed here last year and the hotel itself, staff on-site etc were all fantastic, so much so that I intended to stay here every time I came to Blackpool going forward. I booked a couple of stays in 2022, the first being in July but unfortunately the event I was due to attend was pulled and rescheduled for COVID reasons one week before. I emailed the hotel as soon as I received this news and asked to change my booking. The hotel refused to refund me as it was just short of one weeks notice but initially agreed to reschedule my booking to August. However I was subsequently unable to get time off work in August and I politely emailed the hotel again and asked to move the booking to October. After sending nine emails throughout July/August, the hotel flat out ignored every single message and didnt action my request!! I then got an automated email in August telling me that I'd no-showed on my booking so they had kept my money!! Despite the hotel itself being very good, I'm absolutely disgusted at the way this hotel has behaved in regards to my booking and I will never use them again. They've shot themselves in the foot as I'm due to travel to Blackpool 7-8 times through 2022/2023, and for the sake of stealing £42.30 from me, they've lost regular business throughout the next two years!!
