Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway

Words can’t express how much I loved staying here. It was a beautiful stay and Jess was wonderful and friendly. The accommodation was beautiful. I loved that the only noise you could here was from the birds and waking up looking out and seeing the beautiful bush was a highlight every morning

This gorgeous gem is a must! Staff were absolutely amazing their dedication and passion shows. Cottages were relaxing and a haven for a tired soul! The kids chess that was life size was adorable! Do yourself a favour and book you won’t be disappointed

We had a wonderful family get together at Federation Gardens last weekend. Our large group (27 adults, 10 children) were accommodated with ease. Jess was very helpful from our first phone call and ensured that our needs were met. The swimming pool and activities room were a real hit with our younger members. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out. The weather was particularly kind so we had a great catch up around the BBQ area on the first night. Definitely value for money and a good location to access the many activities that the Blue Mountains offered.

Great location for hikes around Blackheath particularly the grand canyon track. The place has lots of family friendly activities. Our kids loved the pool, games room, tennis courts and toasting the complimentary marshmallows by the fire!

Clean, tidy, well appointed cabins in a lovely parkland setting with fantastic amenities. Friendly and helpful staff and good value for money. Close to wonderful walks, shops and restaurants. We have stayed once before and will come back again in the future.

Relaxing holiday for family. Children enjoyed the indoor pool and exploring the grounds. It was very nice with lovely surroundings. It was quiet which was nice. Cabin was clean and functional. Would stay again. We also enjoyed the breakfast package.

Our second stay at Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway was a delightful experience that truly exceeded our expectations, just like our first. The hospitality extended by our host, Jess, was both warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation itself boasts a variety of amenities that cater wonderfully to both adults and children. The BBQ area was well-equipped and maintained, it provided the perfect setting for family meals and relaxed gatherings. Additionally, the pool was a hit with the kids. They spent hours enjoying the water, which was both indoor and heated, ensuring comfort regardless of the weather. Another standout feature was the fire pit. Everything was thoughtfully supplied, from the firewood to fire starters, and even marshmallows in the room, which the kids absolutely loved. It was these small touches that really made our stay memorable. For entertainment, the kids' game room was well-stocked with activities including table tennis and various types of balls for different games and much more. The presence of a tennis court, with rackets and balls provided, added to the range of outdoor activities available. Adding to the many attractions of Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway, the reception area offers a wide array of movies and board games. This collection is available for guests to choose from, completely free of charge. This feature is particularly appealing for families and groups looking for indoor entertainment options, especially during evenings or on the occasional rainy day. The location of Federation Gardens & Possums Hideaway is also worth mentioning. Situated within walking distance from Evan's Lookout, Grand Canyon, and Walls Cave, it offers easy access to some stunning natural attractions.

Wonderful family stay. We stayed for 3 nights with extended family in the cottage and had an amazing time. So many activities for the kids, a very well equipped kitchen and lots of lovely touches. Comfy beds, lots of room and an excellent price point

We have returned to Federation Gardens for the past 15 years for part of our summer holiday with family friends. The grounds, pool, and other activities provide an ideal adventure park for our kids, who love to hang out with their friends, while we enjoy catching up as a group of parents.
