Travelodge Birmingham Fort Dunlop

Quite place to stay bug room. Excellent staff and food

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Travel Lodge Fort Dunlop, the hotel is clean the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the food is excellent. I would definitely stay there again on my next travel to the UK and will recommend this hotel ro my friends.

From the moment I booked, the experience at Travelodge Fort Dunlop was excellent. Ryan, the manager, helped me over the phone before my stay—polite, reassuring, and very helpful. When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Jo (with the colourful hair)—the friendliest and most genuine hotel staff member I’ve ever met. Later that evening, I had an issue with my car window dropping into the door. I asked if there were any tools I could borrow, and to my surprise, Jo came out with screwdrivers and said, “Let’s go try together.” She absolutely didn’t have to help me, but she did—and thanks to her, I was able to secure my car. That kind of care is rare. She truly deserves a bonus for her outstanding service. The room was clean and comfortable, and every staff member I encountered was polite and helpful throughout my 3-night stay. The only minor issue was my key card repeatedly not working, but the team always resolved it quickly and professionally. Parking was also amazing, small Travelodge car park but right opposite was a huge car park with plently of spaces. Shocked at this expectional service as it is very hard to find these days! Team at fort Dunlop should be treated to a reward of some kind!

I booked 2 rooms for the weekend, the price was reasonable for a 2 night stay. We are at a weekend event near by so was just going to be somewhere to freshen up and sleep. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, both rooms were very spacious. The hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly, nothing was too much trouble even when ordering food at 1:30 in the morning. Definitely booking here for next years stay. Thank you to the Fort Dunlop taveloddge staff for being very welcoming and hospitable.
