"This is the most ridiculous hotel I've ever stayed in. The hallways were filled with fake ancient bronze artifacts – I don't know which designer had the wild idea to put ancient tomb funerary objects in a hotel corridor. When booking, I specifically requested a room in a corner, not a corner, and that it be smoke-free. They gave me a room at the very end of the hallway, and a strong smell of smoke hit me as soon as I opened the door. Later, I changed rooms, and the online pictures were completely misleading. The room looked clean and tidy, but the facilities were incredibly old, the room was tiny, and the bathroom was cramped – it felt like a 1990s guesthouse. As for the bedding, the pillows were as hard as rocks, and the labels on the back weren't even from the hotel – I wonder if they were secondhand. Finally, the breakfast. The front desk said it would be excellent, but there was practically nothing to eat. Near the end of the meal service, I saw hotel staff sitting around the food counter eating, with breakfast meant for guests right in front of them. I wonder if the uncollected food, contaminated by the staff's saliva, would end up on the breakfast counter the next day."
