Amazing hotel! The rooms are immaculate. The staff is helpful, kind, and incredibly accommodating. I mentioned off-hand that I had a gluten allergy and they left gluten free cookies in my room. The restaurant food and breakfast food is fantastic. Absolutely no complaints and I would book a room at this hotel again in a heartbeat. Overall, I would highly recommend the Old Parsonage.

Absolutely fantastic, food very high quality ,staff lovely and welcoming, service first class would definitely recommend Could not fault anything with this restaurant, had lunch in the main restaurant then took coffee outside on the patio area, as it was Father’s Day it was very busy but we were not waiting very long at all thanks to the lovely staff

very lovely and atmospheric hotel with really fab art works and comfortable beds. we were right at the top of the building and the tiny doorways gives a real feeling of the ancient history of the building. breakfast was delicious. I suppose what we really liked was that it was an easy and pleasant stroll into the centre of Oxford and all its marvellous historic sites

Having stayed at their sister hotel, The Old Bank, on a couple of occasions, we were keen to try The Old Parsonage to see how it compares. We booked through the website, as we found this to offer the best price and some promotions. This is a much smaller and cosier hotel but still has the same high standards of finish and customer service. We pre booked a parking space as we needed somewhere to leave the car, and it’s so convenient being a short walk to town. Our room overlooked the little courtyard and had a small balcony. The room was ideal for a short stay and the bathroom was excellent with a lovely rainfall shower. The breakfast was superb with a self service buffet combined with cooked options, all beautifully served. The bar area is small but full of atmosphere and there is also a very relaxing library, where you can order food & drinks. We also dined in the restaurant on the first evening which was very good although quite pricey. Overall it was a lovely alternative to the Old Bank and now gives us the “nice to have” dilemma of which one to stay in when we return!

Very poor experience considering this is an expensive and meant to be luxurious hotel. The bedroom was comfortable however looked directly into the carpark. The breakfast was absolutely tasteless and very poor service. This was overall a really disappointing stay. We are also in an access room - so this would have been helpful for anyone requesting such a room - we didn’t request that. The car parking was really good and extremely close to St Anne’s College which was helpful for us. Overall far too expensive for the quality of service received.

The restaurant is absolutely amazing. I had the steak and my partner had the fish cakes and both had so much flavour. For dessert we had a chocolate and pear cake which I crave to this day!! The hotel room really mice and luxurious as well.
