Nice rooms, good continental breakfast with local yoghurt as speciality and very good guiding to help us exploring Bhaktapur. Location is perfect, just outside the gate of Durbar squire at a quiet place. Building seems very old but is newly built in 2010 in the old Bhaktapur style.

Feels like home. Yoy can ask anything. Their answer is always no problem. Beautiful rooms. Every thing you need is available. The ownes can also guide you arround if you like. The family wife and 2 kids all make you feel at home. I recommend this hotel you everyone

Stayed for 3 amazing nights at Shiva Guest House 2. It was very homey because the family also stay there. Got to eat with the family and the meals were made with love. I really like the fact that guesthouse is about 2 minutes walking distance from shops, restaurants and historic places. At nights, you can walk around to watch the locals sing, play music and perform many rituals. I felt pretty safe as a solo traveler. Naresh made me feel very comfortable by taking me around his city by car and also day tours. He has the biggest heart and he helps with the local school lunch from the profit of the business. The guesthouse is super clean and really enjoyed sleeping on their comfortable bed. Best place so far for me in Nepal.

Very welcoming couple. The wife and husband manages the restaurant themselves. Very flexible and easygoing. They also speak excellent English. Rooms have wooden flors, nice to walk on and warm in winter. Big generous beds. Solarheated hot water in the shower. When we were here there was an invited mucision playing sarangi in the spacious restaurant.

One of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our travels in Nepal. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was good and inexpensive. The host was very helpfull and gave us advice on what places to visit in the surrounding area. Highly recommend a stay at Shiva guesthouse 2!

Comfortable, clean and very affordable guest house. Very friendly host who is fluent in English and German. The guest house is located right next to the main tourist attraction, the Taleju Temple. Many thanks to the family of the host.

I have stayed at this Hotel with my family for 1 1/2 days. Not only were they very welcoming but also speaking german, which was very helpfull. We had great looking rooms, nice mattresses, a nice toilet with hot shower and a very nice host. He showed us around the city and even gave us great tips at buying at the right places to get what you desire. The Hotel is right next to the old city entrance btw. A very pleasant visit overall and a great finish to our journey.

The staff and owner gave us the best service. We spent the day running into roadblocks and we needed a break from it all. The owner here really helped us out with his hospitality and great service. Gave us fair prices and good advice. This hotel is in a great location and you should definitely check it out.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak english and german fluently. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. This hotel is highly recommended as it is located near the entrance to the Durbar square. Thus the old town can easily be accessed.
