The Driftwood Bexhill

If you don’t stay you will of missed a gem ! Absolutely everything was on the money. The hosts can’t do enough, the place spotless and great location - rooms gorgeous AND breakfast was 10/10. If only every b&b was like this! Loved the lucky 🍀 bamboos and Thai twist

This is a wonderful place as everyone says on this site. The rooms are very smart and modern in a good way, the place is spotless, the breakfasts first rate and the owners a joy to be with. For anyone contemplating staying I could only say - do it. A word of advice would be, do read the website for parking information before you come. We did and knew it was street parking if available, which is free after four in the afternoon and before 10 in the morning. Unfortunately for us, even on a Monday in April, when we arrived there were no places on the streets nearby and ended up parking, as suggested on the website, in the pavillion car park, which is less than five minutes walk from Driftwood. It isn't expensive and our car was probably safer there than on the street. This isn't a criticism just a note for other people who might find it difficult to park up.

Driftwood is a stylish boutique hotel in the centre of Bexhill very near the train station and sea front. Our room was comfortable, clean and luxurious. The immaculate and contemporary bathroom had a spacious shower that was powerful and hot. It is clear that thoughtful attention to detail has been given. After a delicious breakfast our expectations were exceeded. Thank you to Driftwood!

What a wonderful little hotel. I stayed for 3 nights. Check-in was a breeze despite it being quite late in the evening. The room was clean and comfortable and the decor is stunning. There was plenty of drinks selection in the room and some homemade cookies. The bathroom was spotless and had a large shower with plenty of water pressure. The star attraction is the breakfast, with a perfect selection from french toast to full English. A lovely comfortable stay. I'll definitely be returning.

We had a perfect stay at The Driftwood. The hotel decor is outstanding. The room was cosy , comfortable and spotlessly clean the bathroom looked brand new.It had everything we needed even a fridge with fresh milk. The breakfast was really tasty We would definitely return

What a lovely hotel, it’s beautifully appointed and so neat and stylish. And I’m comparing it to sone VERY expensive hotels. Hard to believe it’s been open 7 years as it all looks so fresh and new not a speck of dust or a scuff to be seen. Such attention to detail is very very rare. Lovely rooms. Great bathrooms. Really nice people own and run it. No indolent staff - you’re meeting and looked after by the owners. Delicious breakfast. What a great find. And to cap it all we ran into the amazing potter and TV personality Keith Brymer Jones and his lovely partner Marj there. Hard to think of any way in which it could be improved. You can tell we really really loved the place.

I can't fault this hotel, everything is PERFECT! we stayed in room 5, it was spotlessly clean as if you were walking into a brand new B&B. Check in and parking was smooth, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was AMAZING! I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if I needed a B&B in the area.

An absolutely amazing boutique hotel, one of the best we have stayed in. Immaculate room, welcoming check-in, superb breakfast and excellent location. Can't recommend it highly enough. We will return.

Absolutely loved our stay here, one of the best B&B’s, if not the best we have stayed in. The room itself was absolutely gorgeous and spotlessly clean. The way the rooms have been furnished and decorated is really stunning. Everything you could of needed was provided in the room. We loved the little luxury extras like cookies for with your tea or coffee and a couple of beers in the fridge and fresh milk. The breakfast was exceptional too… absolutely faultless we would recommend to anyone!
