Hotel Palazzo Brunamonti

Well it seems to be aiming for ok and just about achieving it. Not without charm but its a bit sad. Room a bit shabby and a little grimy but ok. Mattress ok but noticeably flimsy. Some marks on walls and bashed up furniture and a bit dusty. The breakfast room was worse with very patchy skirting and dirty floor. Was a dangerous step down going in to the room - Watch out! Did spot a warning notice but it was past the door on the far side as you approach and not very visible. Obviously budgeting: No bath mat. Only one pillow. Breakfast adequate. The fruit selection of a slightly green orange, a squishy grape, a half picked at bunch of grapes and couple of apples was tragic. I wouldn’t mind that the coffee was from a machine but it was really terrible coffee. I didn’t drink it and got one down the street instead for €1.10 - i would recommend that. Someone elsewhere in the hotel had a bad cough. My room was really not sound proof and the echoing coughs set a miserable atmosphere. The coffered ceiling in the room was beautiful and some of the frescos too. I did manage to fix the bell at reception whilst waiting for service although only balanced together so not sure for how long.

Here we go: Unfriendly unhelpful staff, with a default attitude of 'No, not possible'. Dark and dingy room on top floor with a very small window near the floor (it was supposed to be an upgraded room for which we had paid extra; I dread to see what a standard room looks like). Bathroom in dire need of renovation. The shower alternated between scolding hot and freezing cold every 3 seconds. Rusty doorframe on shower stall, doors didn't slide easily. No bathroom mat. Noisy airconditioning unit prevented us from sleeping. Only one nightstand had a bedside lamp. Terrible breakfast selection, only toast bread, and no tea. We went out for breakfast to a little place across the street. There was an overflowing dirty ashtray full of butts on a common terrace which had been rained on and not emptied for a very long time I would definitely dissuade anyone from choosing this hotel

TUTTO PERFETTO. GESTORI EFFICIENTI, GENTILI E SIMPATICI. COLAZIONE ABBONDANTE E VARIA. STRUTTURA ANTICA MA CONFORTEVOLE. CI SONO STATO CON ALCUNI AMICI DUE GIORNI (IL 30 E IL31 DICEMBRE 2024) PER PASSARE IL CAPODANNO A BEVAGNA. SIAMO STATI TUTTI VERAMENTE BENE. ESPERIENZA DA RIFARE

Tornati dal soggiorno a Bevagna l hotel e molto bello appena varchi la soglia ti immergi nella storia e il personale gentilissimo ti fa sentire a casa, la colazione a buffet varia e abbondante, le camere confortevoli e molto curate nei dettagli, consigliatissimo.

ACCOGLIENZA ECCEZIONALE! Ho pernottato in questa struttura in occasione del Sagrantino Wine Trail... a parte la struttura che è davvero meravigliosa, nel centro di Bevagna, con tutta la sua storicità, devo dire che l'accoglienza è andata oltre ogni aspettativa. Già via telefono avevo apprezzato la cortesia e la disponibilità del personale, ma poi, una volta sul posto, chi ci ha accolte ha fatto di tutto per venire incontro alle nostre esigenze! Qualità-prezzo buone, pulizia dei locali, tranquillità (che non ha guastato, visto la gara della mattina dopo!) e tanto calore umano. Consiglio questo hotel ai prossimi visitatori dell'Umbria.

Un nome pretenzioso che nasconde una situazione inadeguata, mi sembrava strano che costasse così poco! La camera era piccola e scomoda, assurda la disposizione dei mobili, era una singola venduta come doppia, anche il letto non era matrimoniale, forse una piazza e mezza, ma in due si sta male. Il bagno piccolissimo e datato, oltre che trascurato. La colazione un disastro, pezzetti di tortine confezionate e nemmeno fresche. Assolutamente sconsigliato.
