I was very much looking forward to visiting the “quiet resort” in Delaware. This hotel was anything BUT quiet. Heavy slamming doors, elevators dinging constantly, kids running and screaming through the hallways, etc. When I arrived for check in, no one was at the front desk. I literally had to walk around to the back office to tell them I was here. Took me a while to get acclimated to the digital room key being needed for everything. I’m old and not a techie. For a newer hotel, there were a lot of flaws regarding housekeeping. Blood (?) and pen (?) marks on the curtains, spider web on the balcony rails, dust on the lamps, etc. See photos. Also, the WiFi was nonexistent due to a Comcast power outage. I’m actually writing this as I’m at the hotel. Cannot wait to get home. I expected more from the Hilton brand.
