Marshall Meadows Manor House

As a local i must say it’s been a few (8) months since i last visted as a few times recently the have been fully booked and it’s understandable why. Sunday lunch today £23 for 2 course exceptional Roast turkey with all the trimmings then sticky toffee pudding ( Tasmine take a bow you star) it was excellent. All staff were very friendly and attentive and… the fire was lit in the bar it was perfect. Merry Christmas to all the staff your all great.

Lovely welcome and shown to our rooms which had a sea view. We were on a Gourmet Break - and the taster menu was superb. Afternoon tea was enormous and we really enjoyed it - the breakfasts were excellent All the staff were very friendly and made us feel quite at home. Took a taxi there and back into Berwick less than £9.00 each way All in all a super place Barbara

I'm afraid the advertising of Meadow Suites' on the hotels website is extremely misleading. We booked one of these only to be allocated a 'pod' in the grounds with a shower over the toilet. Not ideal for a special stay and no warning ahead of time. Having emailed the general manager for a response several times only to be fobbed over I'd say there is a lack of customer service here at the top. Better options to book in the area.

Booked for lunch and discovered it was the first day of the Festive Menu. Decided to go for it and weren’t disappointed. Turkey, beef and chestnut loaf with all the trimmings for mains, Xmas pudding x2 and blue cheese & pear salad (from the starter menu!) for dessert. Great ingredients beautifully cooked, really good. Well looked after too.

What a fabulous hotel this is. My wife and I had Sunday lunch followed by an overnight stay including breakfast. The experience started before we even left home, with a courtesy call to welcome us. Sunday lunch was delicious and the staff were all very polite and professional. After checking in we were shown to our room, number 16. The room was fantastic, lovely walk in shower, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. A large comfortable bed and an amazing sea view. All the staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was lovely, with everything you could imagine. Juice, tea, coffee, cereals, yogurts, toast and a choice of different cooked options. After breakfast we walked along the coastal path to the Scottish border, and then we walked South into Berwick again along the coastal path on the cliff tops. The views were stunning. All in all we loved our stay and look forward to returning in the near future. Thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Such a beautiful hotel In an Excellent location with Lovely coastline walks You get such a warm welcome from the staff they are so friendly and helpful Lovely atmosphere in the lounge areas and the restaurant with a great selection food on the menu . Bed was so comfortable and hot tub was an added bonus !!!
