easyHotel Berlin Hackescher Markt

Easyhotel Berlin is an outstanding, wonderful hotel. I stayed there recently for 4 nights. The location is brilliant, situated in between two u bahn stations and very central. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They can help with any questions you have about Berlin and things to see. In particular the young man from India who is on reception in the evening was very helpful and I had many good conversations with him. Also the price of staying at the hotel is great value and in short. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You will be glad you stayed here if you are visiting Berlin!!!

AMAZING location!! Small, exactly as advertised. The bed was comfortable and the room was modern and clean. Perfect for budget travelling.

The room is very cramped and overall quiet dirty most noticeable points are a mouldy mirror and noticeable mould on the shower ceiling. Dirt has accumulated around the shelf's edges, and the remote control is covered in a thick layer of dust.

Stayed a few nights in December. Hotel is easy to get to with tram/train stops a short walk away. The reception staff are multi lingual and very friendly and helpful. Room was small, clean and functional.Once I got the hang of the heating/air con the room was comfortable. The lifts are very slow so you may prefer to use the stairs. IIf like me, your room is on the front and a low floor, the street noise can be loud. Only grumble was the cleaner decided to start hoovering outside my door at 8am (7am UK time) which i didn't appreciate whilst on my holidays, especially after a long day traveling and exploring previously; don't understand why this could not have waited 1 hour.

It would be ok if your the size of a toddler!! The room is tiny, dirty and smelly (the bathroom smelled of urine) I’ve stayed in lots of budget hotels and wow this is the worst of them all (compared to ibis budget, travelodge, even other easy hotel’s etc)! It’s so tiny, with the two of us, there was only just enough space for our two cases. You can’t wash your face in the sink as you would smash your face in the glass. So you’re best off having a shower in the morning rather than night. The air con is near on non existent, and the room was very warm even though outside was around 18-20 degrees, so we instead opened the window to the room, which was nice, but the noise was shocking, with it being the city centre and the vibrations & noise from the trams often woke us up as the area is very noisy! I’ve even stayed in the easy hotel at Zaandam in Amsterdam, and that room was triple the size, cleaner and was cheaper than this stay in Berlin. I really wouldn’t recommend it, if that’s not already clear haha!!!

By and large an acceptable place to stay. Nothing much to add to what has been said. Tiny rooms with no space for luggage, let alone a closet. Friendly staff, decent location, maybe a bit noisy. Good connection to public transportation. You get what you paid for. Be aware, while it might be cheapish, it doesn‘t feel not like a bargain. I would, however return.
