Numa Berlin Torstrasse

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Berlin! The location was perfect, allowing us easy access to all the attractions, and the hotel itself was pristine with excellent amenities. From the welcoming staff to the comfortable rooms, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

This is a great stay for Berlin, especially if you would like a few more comforts out of your stay. Wonderful breakfast was included in the price, beautiful terrace and easy access to multiple transport links such as S, U Bahn and bus.

The location of the hostel is great, situated in a busy neighbourhood filled with locals visiting coffee shops and other amenities, yet conveniently located next to a U-Bahn for easy travel elsewhere in Berlin. The hostel itself was spotlessly clean, and the breakfast options were among the best we've had in hostels, offering a variety of choices including unique dishes like shakshouka and smoked salmon. Our private room was spacious, WiFi was reliable, and the gentleman in charge of breakfast, provided excellent service. While some staff members were disappointing, they were in the minority. On occasions when the main breakfast attendant was off duty, service was lacking. However, these instances were rare. Despite some challenges, such as difficulty meeting other travellers due to the presence of couples, families, and business travellers, we were able to socialise and make connections with other travellers during our stay. The potential issue of noise from the rooftop DJ was not a problem for us, as it was not overly loud and the management now offer earplugs for those who may require them. The other thing previous guests commented on was the rooms being too dark - I can only assume they've changed the bulbs in response as we had no issues. Overall, our experience at the hostel was positive and enjoyable.

Great place to stay. We had a family room and it was well equipped with a kitchenette and comfortable (a bit more lighting would be helpful) the sfaff were friendly and the breakfast was lovely. Really convenient for the tram and the underground trains.

No way get a refund when the trains are cancelled during a national strike in Germany. Maybe just a normal reaction for a company with business located in Panama and Delaware...not really made to help young people but just take the money and run !

Brilliant hotel close to Rosa Luxembourg station, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is first class. The room we had was 212 and it was kept clean and was very comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful bohemian air about it which is mirrored in the artwork on each floor. The rooftop bar is a nice touch and you get a free drink there on arrival. I would stay here again no problem.

The hotel is hosting a noisy party in the evening on the roof top. As the telephone number on line of the reception is not valid I go downstairs to talk with the front desk. It is explained to me that the priorities of this lodging are neither sleeping nor the guests because is a "lifestyle hotel". It was offered to move me from my room but not to move the party. In fairness: "Selina provides guests with beautiful places to stay, travel, and work abroad indefinitely" there is no mention of sleeping.

We booked a family room which was two singles together and a set of bunk beds. Room was spacious enough, had a fridge and a microwave. Bathroom was good with a shower. Room was clean. Staff were friendly at reception and the rooftop bar. We were here early August and it was very cool weather wise so had no issues with outside noise. We had the windows closed overnight which blocked the noises of the tram - this concerned previous visitors when it was warmer. I usually have earplugs anyway on these trips as the noise can be unpredictable. There is a shared kitchen downstairs which is available for you to use whenever . There is a large fridge freezer also .
