Boutique Hotel Villa Kranenbergh

I can’t imagine a better stay anywhere seaside in the Netherlands! The owners, Harald & Helen, are fabulous. It is evident that they have an eye for detail and hospitality. The premises are immaculate. The surroundings are incredibly comforting and the rooms are cozy, clean and beautifully appointed. Having a tea by the modern yet cozy fireplace was a great way to end the day. The breakfast was delicious - the signature avocado toast and the smoothie of the day alfresco in the garden were the perfect way to begin our day. The greenhouse and the Green Egg smoker create an additional vibe that can’t be beat anywhere in Holland. We can’t wait to come back and rent out the entire building for my next senior management meeting.

Extremely small room with bizarre lighting scheme. Bed was comfortable but pillows were horrendous. Very nice breakfast. Outdoor street parking was available. Strangely, the establishment failed to provide an invoice upon checkout. I followed up with three emails and ultimately had to call the 'manager' to get it. I don't know about other hotel options in the charming village of Bergen, but this is just OK for one or two nights, no more. Certainly not a five star experience in any way.

We were welcomed by the friendly owner and offered coffee and apple tart. Initial impressions were very good. The Villa is very chic in the public spaces and back garden. The food, general facilities and staff were of a high standard. Our room, however was very small (on the top floor) - almost claustrophobic. There was hardly any space for two suitcases which had to be put on the floor, The en-suite toilet offered hardly any privacy and the AC in the room was not effective. It was cooler in the hallway outside the room than in the room. Although we had booked five days, we left after three nights.

In diesem wirklich malerischen Ort Bergen liegt das Boutique Hotel Villa Kranenbergh. Wir waren als Familie drei Nächte Gäste in diesem sehr stilvoll eingerichteten Hotel und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die untere Etage soll das Wohnzimmer des kleinen Hotels sein und ist sehr schön eingerichtet und lädt zum verweilen ein. Die Zimmer sind teilweise sehr klein, und etwas dunkel; aber sehr sauber. Was mich etwas gestört hat, ist das offene Badezimmer. Dies war tatsächlich auch der Grund für mich nicht 5/5 zu geben. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert aber sehr gut und auch der Cleaning-Service macht einen tollen Job! Das als Hotelduschgel Acqua di Parma Produkte angeboten werden, hat mich aber sehr gefreut (ich liebe den Duft!). Das größte Lob möchte ich aber dem Frühstück und dem Service in diesem Hotel aussprechen! Alles wird einem in gemütlicher Atmosphäre serviert. Ob Egg Benedict, Pfannkuchen oder Omlette; alles wird für einen frisch zubereitet. Selten so ein tolles Hotelfrühstück erlebt. Alle Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich, und möchten einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich machen. Vielen Dank für diese Gastfreundlichkeit! Die Lage ist ebenfalls super; ruhig gelegen, aber nah zum Ortskern und zu vielen schönen Restaurants. Insgesamt ein tolles, kleines Boutique-Hotel. Wir haben uns als Gäste sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt.

Wir waren jetzt zum 2. Mal in der Villa Kranenbergh und es hat uns wirklich wieder sehr gut gefallen. Sehr freundliches Personal, super Frühstück, toller Garten sowie sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wermutstropfen sind die doch sehr kleinen Zimmer, speziell die Zimmer in der 2.Etage mit den Dachschrägen. Wenn man hier größer als 185 cm ist, wird es wirklich kritisch. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen, allerdings dann mit einer Buchung in der 1. Etage.

Ein wirklich schönes Haus mit nur 8 Zimmern. Sehr persönliche Betreuung mit außergewöhnlichem Personal. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Es fühlt sich beinahe an, als ob für die Familie gekocht würde - aber bei voller Privatsphäre. Man muss wissen, dass die Zimmer eher klein und dunkel sind - das wird aber aufgewogen durch fantastische Aufenthaltsräume und einen wundervollen Garten. Fahrräder zum Leihen gibt es direkt vor Ort. Der süsse Ortskern ist in Laufweite. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
