Soufriere Guesthouse

Super comfortable and convention location. Quiet, safe, and has a really nice community aspect. The community kitchen is perfect with in expensive fresh local eggs available. Super super clean! You are really close to Gorgeous natural hot springs and hiking. The owner Wes is just an incredible human- if you are with family and friends or traveling solo, I think staying in a place like this is the perfect way to really experience Dominica

This was a great place to stay for our short trip to Dominica. Easy access to hiking, hot springs, and bubble beach. The staff was super helpful and provided recommendations and answers to our million questions. Also a great in for the best snorkeling and kayaking via the outdoor center. Well definitely go back!

We enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. Owners are friendly and responsive to questions and needs. We stayed in the Green Room which was more spacious than expected, with its own bathroom, mini-fridge, kettle, dining table and porch area with another seating area. Beautiful views and quiet at night. The communal kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering. There is a huge communal dining/living area with a library, tons of games and yoga equipment to borrow (thanks)! The porch with hammocks makes it hard to leave. You can easily walk to Soufriere. We rented a car but you can also take the local ‘bus’. We had trouble sleeping in the heat as there is no air-conditioning so just be aware if you are booking here that there isn’t any…but they did province a big floor fan. Also, may be just while we were here but water was not always working so a couple of days no shower option and filling toilet tanks with bottle water. Also, power was on and off (common for the island apparently) and there is no generator.

The guesthouse staff was welcoming. The rooms and common areas were clean, well appointed and comfortable. The atmosphere was lively with international guests. John and Wes, the owners, created a nice atmosphere and were able to help with local businesses and attractions.

Wes and the staff were awesome! Friendly, accommodating, made the visit special and memorable. Highly recommended way to connect with nature and decompress. Woke up to fresh air and wonderful mountain views every day, and chilled in a kayak while soaking up the sun. I miss it already!

The place has a vibe. Rooms are clean, staff friendly and efficient. Wes and John have a superb place. If you need to relax or work remote from a chill environment. This is it. Go freediving, walking, kayaking, snorkelling or for a hot sulphur spring soak only a few minutes away
