Отель известный, немного уже не новый но территория и в целом атмосфера нормальные. Соотношение цена качество разумное. Отличный ресторан с видом на океан и очень странный ресторан где проходит завтрак ужин (отзывы на картах Google) это подтверждают. Пляж немного грязный, но это проблема не отеля а в целом местного населения.

After visiting many destinations our last destination was Taj Bentota. We thought we would relax three days by a five star beach resort and paid 5 star prices only to be disappointed. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a terrible hotel after some great hotels in Kandy, Negombo & Yala. The reviews were very misleading for the Taj. The hotel is old and musty. The rooms are basic and so are the bathrooms, reminded me of motels in the US. The hotel sits on a lovely spot with a great beach. The cleanliness and maintenance are terrible. Rooms are basic. If you visit this hotel as a three star, you will be happy but if you think you are going to a 5 star hotel please avoid this hotel completely. Of the hotels it had the worst service, worst cleanliness, worst food and worst rooms. It needs a complete overhaul to qualify as a luxury hotel. They pretty much have a monopoly as there are very few decent hotels in Bentota which is why they are full and continue to provide subpar facilities. I would avoid this area completely and may be think of going to Galle for the beach

I had an unforgettable dining experience at Taj Hotel, thanks to the amazing Chef Dalip Singh! He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to prepare a special dish just for me. The food was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, full of rich flavors, and made with great attention to detail. His warmth and hospitality truly made my visit special. I highly recommend dining here for an exceptional culinary experience!

Very good property with excellent veiw.. Amazing food by chef Dalip from nanital.. Great hospitality and indian food.. Direct beach access for in house guests.. Quick housekeeping at midnight.. Multiple options to explore in property.

We visited the Taj Bentota as a family of 4 for Christmas 2024. We had an absolutely brilliant holiday and cannot recommend a stay at the Taj highly enough. From our creative and superb room boy Milton, to the wonderfully friendly and efficient restaurant staff (particularly Dinesh) the service was impeccable but also personal. Particular praise for F&B manager Kosala who seemed to be in all food areas all of the time - yet always found a moment to greet and check in with us. Wonderful staff made this stay exceptional. We shall return!!
