Bateau Libre Hotel

A lovely boutique hotel in Bénodet close to the port and beaches. There is a 5 minute ferry over to St Marine which is also lovely. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - we enjoyed our stay very much. The place has a feel of home about it rather than a hotel - lovely decor. Highly recommend

Jean-Ettiene was a wonderful host. He was very happy to recommend restaurants, and made some great wine recommendations. The hotel was very clean and had a great atmosphere. The decor was very nice, we liked the unusual style. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!

What a find! A wonderfully renovated hotel located very centrally in Bénodet, Brittany with a vintage twist to its decoration! We spent 2 nights in the 'Cabine Double Confort' room, on the 2nd floor. It was very quiet giving onto the back of the building and very bright with 5 large windows. There was a even a desk/office area for a bit of home officing! It seems like all the staff were recruited for their smileyness and very warm welcome! To our regret, we did not taste the bar food, but fully enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine there after dinner elsewhere & got to know some of the other guests! Breakfast was delish, with a yogurt & raspberry coulis peppered with lime zest and brown sugar to start with, different kinds of breads, fruits & juices as well as pots of coffee and tea. We asked for capuccinos from the bar, just to get the full coffee hit! There is no designated car park at this hotel, but instead a public car park very close by. Also people with mobility restrictions should be aware that there is no lift to the upper floors (I don't think this was specified on the website), but there is at least one room on the ground floor.

5 ème séjours pour nous et toujours un accueil fabuleux. Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit déjeuner servi sur une table majestueuse (je ne sais pas où à été fabriqué cette table, elle est juste incroyable.) ravira vos papilles tellement il est riche de diversité. Je vous conseil le jus de pommes local, un délice. Pour l'apéro les "planches" sont incroyable et très copieuses, et quoi dire de la "paella de la mer" préparé devant vous, avec amour par Jean-Etienne... juste un grand moment de bonheur. L'hôtel est parfaitement situé, à deux pas des plages et des navettes maritime pour vos escapades vers les îles et vers le petit port de Sainte-Marine parfait pour un apéro les pieds dans l'eau. A l'hôtel il y a aussi une partie Bistro avec tapas, bières et vins divers, parfait pour faire une pause gourmande en fin d'après-midi. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour cet accueil encore une fois juste parfait. Jean-Etienne et ton équipe vous êtes les meilleurs. A très vite Stéphane.

Chambre exiguë, aucun espace de rangement prévu. Ni chaise. On entend tous les bruits de couloir. Les odeurs de restauration et les bruits de la terrasse. L'hôtel est très mal entretenu ( traces sur les murs et table de chevet)... L'aération de la sbd ne fonctionne pas. La buée reste présente même après 15 minutes.. Quand on sort de la douche on arrive sur les toilettes et ça se dit un 3 étoiles ??? Pas de mouchoirs en papier, pas d'eau à l'arrivée ni de verre.. Juste un gobelet de sdb... A éviter.. Le bateau libre prend l'eau, à fuir
