Flamingo Beach Resort - Adults Recommended

Espectacular fin de semana.

Hotel was more a 3 star than 4, room clean and very spacious, welcome gift was a bottle of water - why bother. Food was a bit bland and repetitive but still ok. Bar staff especially Georgetta and Niome were excellent even though they were soooo busy.

Stayed with my grown up daughter for her birthday in March. Room was amazing (junior Suite room 1206), spacious and I loved the walk in shower. All areas were very clean and I found the staff to be helpful, courteous and very pleasant. The AI drinks were good (at least the G&T was) and the entertainment was better than I have seen in other AI adult only hotels. Restaurant served a variety of food which I found to be tasty, freshly cooked and appetising, although I could do with being a bit hotter. That said, there was a microwave that could be used by any diner if wanted. Breakfast offered a variety of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and hot food as you'd expect. Entertainment was hosted inside with the hotel being in a residential area. It's not until the end of May when the children finish school for the summer that the entertainment moves to outside along with the outside pool bar. Location I thought was fab. About a 10 min walk to the main strip and a little longer to the Old Town. Alternatively a taxi cost about 6 Euros each way. Very quiet at night, so a good night's sleep was had. Something that could be improved are the pillows on the bed which are rather flat and could do with replacing and also the ladies toilet in the main bar area which really does need attention asap as I think it's falling off the wall, also the disabled toilet needs a new lock on it. Easy fixes I reckon. I would definitely return. :)

Just had a fantastic stay at the hotel. I found it very clean and spacious with very welcoming staff, in particular Georgeta whose dry sense of humour was infectious. Rooms were cleaned every day, food was great with plenty of choice. Strongly recommend.

I have stayed at this hotel approx 7 times and over the past 2 or 3 years the standard of the hotel and food have dropped due to new management. I was there in February this year with my wife and the weather was good and the poolside was busy but the new management made the decision not to open the pool bar. If you wanted a drink other than beer or a soft drink it was a trip to the lounge bar upstairs which is not really acceptable as most of the residents are elderly.
