Clean hotel

Nice hotel and friendly staff. The pool area was a little small for the amount of people. Children were often in the spa pool as it was shallow so it wasn't very relaxing. The lifts were a bit slow to arrive at we were on the 12th floor so we didn't walk. However, it was my birthday whilst away and they gave me a cake and a bottle of prosecco. We also had a fruit platter on the last night which was a lovely touch. Thanks for a great week

Went for 2 weeks was alright staff a bit rude when I didn’t know that you had to pay at pool bar during lunch because it was my first day he just mocked me when I pointed at my band? Two family members sick we saw the reviews so stayed anway from sea food and meat but still got ill apart from that it wasn’t that bad of a holiday but wouldn’t go here

So had already reviewed this hotel on a site that they had emailed to me and gave it glowing reviews. Everything about the hotel is lovely. The views, the staff and food/cocktails lush. The staff would do all they could to help make your stay better. Rooms large, with massive balconies. We were half board and stayed for 4 nights. The last 2 days we ate out in town ( which you can walk to in 40 minutes or alternatively get a bus (stop outside across the road) or the reception would call a cab. The food was absolutely fine at the hotel. Breakfast really lovely and nice touch of sparkly wine being available too. Snacks like burgers/ toasties/ hotdogs were 3.50 euros and cocktails 6 euros. On our last night the hotel gave us a complimentary bottle of fizz which I thought was lovely and that’s when I then gave the glowing review they had emailed me. So literally my mum then said she didn’t feel well when we were on the way to the marina to watch the football and have some food. We got to the pub and my mum (who rarely gets ill) rushed to the toilet with severe sickness. We then had to come back to the hotel as she was ill and we had to pack to come home next day. She was then sick and had diarrhea. Next day she still felt rough but had taken some Imodium and had stopped vomiting. Luckily managed to get on the plane, and mum feels much better now, although I have now unfortunately been struck down with D&V. Have been projectile vomiting and more or less the same the other end. Have not been able to move and currently still in bed at 4pm June 27th. The other lady on our trip had also had diarrhea the day before my mum was struck down, but she put it down to drinking too much as she wasn’t sick. It really is such a shame. As this would have been the perfect break of we hadn’t got ill. I did read the reviews but we booked it months ago and there weren’t any sickness reviews at that time. I really do feel the travel companies should give people booked here an option to change to another hotel. It is clearly a bug and not the food. The hotel need to isolate it and do a deep clean and close it for at least a week whilst this bug is contained. Obviously for it to be around so long says the hotel haven’t contacted environmental health. We were so careful with hand sanitising etc and still got it. I would urge anyone booked to come here, to speak to your travel operator. Jet 2 are well aware of it, most people that we spoke to here had Been ill. Until this issue is sorted I cannot recommend this hotel. It’s a real shame

I was pleasantly disappointed in the hotel! My room was perfectly fine, with a view of the sea. It was cleaned every day and everything was very tasty and varied in the restaurant. I liked the themed dinners. The evening shows were of a high standard, the animators did their job skillfully. the premium drinks! We really liked it. I definitely recommend it.

Great Hotel for family holidays There is a good beach in two minutes walk. Good location. Very comfortable for families with children. On the 10th floor there was a wonderful view of the sea. great staff and relaxing conditions. We were pleased with this hotel.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. The hotel is a stunning hotel on first impressions, appeared clean, stunning views, and nice layout around the pool area sunbeds etc, unfortunately down hill from there. We booked for four people had one room with two double beds, very limited space. Food was very average and cold, but my main issue is the S&D that me and my sister experienced, I had to get another flight as I was too ill to fly home that day. Staff unbothered when asking if others have been unwell, clearly in denial they have a problem. AVOID THIS HOTEL, you will be seriously unwell. Many other reviews saying people have been hospitalised. Food hygiene needs urgent review, also pool appears clean but the green algae thick on the walls all the way round the pool is disgusting. Sort your selves out Hotel Best.

Lovely clean hotel, 12th floor attic room which was fab, amazing views, super king-size bed, downside only 1 single socket in whole room, no tea/coffee making facilities. Beach nearby pebbles and seabed is stones. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice and omelette, pancakes and waffles made fresh to order. Downside points- over 1 hour walk to main marina and sandy beach, we jumped bus €1.60 as was nicer along that end but plenty of bars and restaurants nearby if you don't fancy the harbour. Overall good holiday, nice clean hotel would not stay again due to location as we prefer nearer harbour

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Service excellent and all staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms were immaculate with large terrace at side sea view. Great pools and sunbathing facilities with terrace overlooking the beach. Stayed with 2 girlfriends each to our own room at an amazing price. Super value and standards. Will definitely go back.
