Hotel Best Triton

Arrived just after 1pm to be told our room wasn’t ready to come back at 2-30 which we did to be told by someone else that it can take up to 4pm we finally got to our room at 4.05 lovely room looking on to the little Square at the back of the hotel hotel is very big now but what a difference so many sun beds to chose from didn’t matter what time you went down always got ion we stayed B&M which suited us we got a lovely surprise knock on the door on the 3 rd day of our stay with a plate of fruit and a bottle of cava has a good will for our trouble of our room and being ready which I thought was really lovely of them then 2 days later came back to our room to another fruit and cava for my husband birthday staff all lovely and friendly the sky bar is only for premium guest but after 6-30 all guest can use it the views are amazing all ready booked for next year than you hotel best triton for amazing holiday

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Best Triton in benalmadena. On arrival the hotel looked fabulous, amazing views of the sea and very picturesque. The reception area was immaculate with loads of seating and gorgeous views. We were checked in by a lovely lady on reception who gave us directions to our rooms. We got lost trying to find it. The hotel is very big with not many lifts so it was a bit of a walk to our room on the 11th floor. When we got to the room we were very impressed. We had paid for a partial sea view and it did not disappoint, the only obstruction to the sea view was part of the hotel building but view was still fantastic The room was lovely and clean with a huge queen size bed, large walk in shower and decent size balcony. There is a safe that can be set with your own code. There was no telephone in the room, not sure if there was meant to be, so unable to contact reception with any of the issues we encountered without making the journey down 11 floors. There is also only 1 small bathroom bin which is annoying , we ended up filling plastic bags and using them as bins. There was air conditioning which was switched off on arrival, so we turned it on as it was nearly 30 degrees outside and very warm on the 11th floor. After an hour or so there was a horrific smell coming from the air conditioning unit that smelt like sewage. We turned it off and told reception who said they would look into it. Nothing was done. We tried the air con again later that evening and again after an hour the smell returned leaving us with an uncomfortable and unpleasant night. This went on for the duration of our stay and when we told reception they looked at us like we were stupid nd said they would send someone to look but this never materialised. This really ruined the experience of our holiday as it was like staying in a sewer. We were bed and breakfast during our stay so went down to breakfast in the morning. The dining area was extremely busy and it took us a little while to find a table to sit. There are huge queues at the coffee machines and the coffee and tea were not very nice. The food was not to my liking but there was plenty of choice. We decided to eat out after trying breakfast there on 2 occasions. Pool areas were nice and access on to the beach is great. The only issue is that nothing is really signposted so we kept finding ourselves on various paths leading to places we didn’t need to go to. With the hotel being so large it definitely needs more signposting and definitely more staff.

Been coming to stay at this hotel since early 80s & was keen to see the refurbishment. It is beautiful, premium rooms lovely, sky bar lovely. However breakfast is a nightmare with queues everywhere & coffee machines rubbish & slow. It’s a trek to get anywhere and lifts are slow. Pools nice, grass areas are a mud bath & these are the areas with umbrellas! Thick mud which gets everywhere. Bar very slow with queues. It’s too big, lost its soul & feels unwelcoming. Been twice to give it a chance but won’t stay again. Public toilets dirty & blocked & soap dispensers often empty & falling off the walls. Views sensational & location excellent but I’m so disappointed.

Wow what a beautiful transformation of the old hotel to the new. Your professional people, greet you with a smile, food excellent, everyone has a sea view, food could be a bit warmer, but what a choice and to be greeted with Prosecco in the morning what else can a girl ask for. I shall certainly be coming to The Triton again already booking for next March. The staff are a credit to the hotel nothing is too much for them. The greeting you get when you arrive is just wonderful.

Lovely relaxing family stay -rooms are clean and furnished perfectly, beach is just a few steps down from the main floor which anyone walking nearby gladly helped me with my pushchair, sea is gorgeous and warm, breakfast has options for everyone, all freshly cooked. Loads to do right outside hotel! Meals, bars, trampoline and soft play centre! Beautiful marina a 10 min walk away with loads to do! Would highly reccomend. I will say if attending like me with a baby and you need boiling water ensure you request a kettle on check in. Thanks team - special thankyou to our room cleaner such a lovely lady

The hotel is beautiful, very tasteful design, comfortable with a great location. The staff is smiling, helpful and the kitchen is great. The rooms with central air conditioning are quiet, no street noise is heard. It just needs a little more care to finish it and it will be perfect for the best rating. The only thing I would she recommended separating them at the reception for services (separately accommodation) and extras for quick counter questions and other .... Thank you for your care and I wish the hotel that they can handle everything while filling the capacity of the entire hotel, it will not be easy

We have just arrived home from staying at the best Triton!!! Beautiful hotel with amazing staff. Was a bit worried after reading soo many reviews about the construction and noise. Let me tell you that whilst there there was no noise at all and the construction is just minor works and little details. Cleaners are everywhere keeping the place spotless. Cafeteria staff were really good so was their food and drinks.. better prices and quality than the restaurants on the beach promenade. Breakfast a huge variety.. fresh omelettes and pancakes made on demand they also cater for all dietary requirements. Rooms were great spacious and very comfy beds. We had hot showers everyday and the Aircon was very welcoming. They have 3 pools, sun loungers and pool towels available to everyone. A great kiddie area also. There are some amenities still to open like the other restaurants kids club spa and arcade this will open soon they are working extremely hard to get all of this done.. should be completed by next week said a staff member. We can't wait to return, thank you best Triton for making us feel like home and treating us fantastically!! Well done on your huge refurbishment!!

Was a bit worried about staying here with the reviews but don’t worry it is such a lovely hotel we went on the 16th June they are still finishing the odd thing nothing major I would say it will be all done by middle of July, they are working very hard and everyday you can see an improvement but it won’t ruin your holiday lovely pool on the beach really nice rooms food was very good,

Booked a large booking for my family for my mums 60th, we arrived and originally thought the the hotel was beautiful to then find a lady crying in the bathroom explaining she has been moved after just one night, it then came to light why, the hotel was a unfinished construction site covered with dangerous hazards, my two year old experienced screws hanging out of the kids pool as well as never ending safety breach’s such as missing walls at high heights, live drills left all over the communal areas, live wires hanging down on every single floor, the fire alarms where covered up in the entire reception lobby, things got even worse when there was 0 water coming from the rooms, we had to wait over 35 minutes to even speak to the reception as the entire hall was covered with customers crying and looking extremely upset. This experience meant we feel trapped and isolated on a trip that we had been looking forward to and this them went on to ruined the entire holiday, after hanging around all day with no where to even change my baby’s nappy as they had no bins in the toilet as well as no lights we was unable to even use the toilet, we had no access to any form of drink or water as the entire hotel had no water. Please avoid this hotel at all costs as it is a construction site and not a ready hotel at the moment inside and out, I’m sure when the hotel will be ready it will be lovely but until then fake photos online and not one mention of construction taking place we feel we have been truly scammed from trip advisor and very disappoint I’m easy jet for allowing this without any checks.
