Beautiful hotel ,most amazing settings and a beautiful beach.the food .oh my God.the food was beyond belief.and the staff and staffing levels are excellent and flawless.from the check in moment where friendly faces and a distinctive lovely smell welcome you in the lobby before you reach the desk, to the check out moment where you can have access to a communalconciergeplace where you can safely keep your languageuntilyou're ready to say goodbye .in the restaurant it was a constant presence of staff.cooking, replenishing ,clearing,welcoming and seeing you out.all in all,you don't get such an experience and don't feel special.

Large hotel with super friendly staff. We went with Jet2. We thought the food was excellent overall. Not everything to everyone’s tastes but so much choice you could always find something nice. We were in room 0429 which faced west so we could see the lovely sunsets. Nice clean room and bathroom with a spacious balcony. The building work did not affect our stay at all. We didn’t use the pools as it was a bit cold and the inside pool was busy. The all inclusive deal was excellent - we’re not big drinkers but nevertheless it was a great bonus. The wine was a bit rustic but great gin and tonics. The complimentary crisps or nuts were a great touch. We went to Malaga on the bus. Came back by train. Bus took 1hr 40mins and was around €1.75 each. It goes from outside the hotel. Train took 35 minutes and cost around €3.50 each. Definitely recommend the train - a cab from the hotel to the station was €7. We took a Jet2 recommended excursion to Nerja and Frigiliana. It took forever to pick up all the people…lots of stops where 2 or 3 people got on. It was a real drag. We also had four nationalities on the coach so the guide was constantly talking. Whilst we enjoyed the places it was a long day and we’d recommend you check the details of any excursions i.e. number of pickup stops before booking anything. We had a family vote and all decided we would come back to this hotel. Great value for money and a great atmosphere.

The hotel casino area was currently being renovated when we arrived in March 2025, it was a bit of an eyesore I do think people should have been pre warned! But we weren’t, so it came as a bit of a shock, (see photos) Our Junior Suite was a lovely ‘big’ size and did have a nice comfy bed. The Shower was fantastic. Outside pool area was quite nice, lovely views of the sea. Dining: For us, this was a let down!! We were very Disappointed with the food, nothing was ever hot! Always lukewarm and such limited choice too, however , breakfast, to be fair, wasn’t too bad, I’d say it was the best meal of the day. (Honest opinion……this was the worst AI we've had out of quite a few we’ve stayed in before) Hotel bar area certainly not great, massively lacked seating! Entertainment was the odd singer, on the odd night, always after the children's entertainment finished around 9pm The hotel is literally right next to a bus stop, which was great for getting out and about. Would we return….. sadly not This hotel Just wasn’t for us.

We have been to this hotel four times now and every single time we have had a fabulous time. From walking into the reception on arrival to leaving, you are made to feel very welcome. The rooms are immaculate, the food is very good with multiple choices, the drinks are brilliant and even the public toilets are kept immaculate. All the staff are so friendly and happy which is why it has a good name.There are plenty of sunbeds in different area and never have to fight for one. We even had a wonderful cleaner on our floor called Pilar who made us feel part of her family as she was so friendly. We are definitely going again next year and we know we will have a great holiday.

Estival Torrequebrada This hotel was always one that came up on the search of holidays. Reviews did make me wonder if I had made the right decision. On arrival we had a short wait at the reception to check in. The entrance was lovely with ramps and steps. We were checked in and in Room 408 in the Malaga Tower. We got a bit lost on route to the room, going past the casino and turning right at the second shop. But another guest sent us the right way. To get to the lift on Ground floor, you do need to go past some rooms. The lifts are on the right. Just beyond the lifts is a lovely seating area. If going to the pool just go to -2 and go to the pool outside past the spa. There were 3 lifts and not a long wait. We arrived at the 4th floor and found the room. Except our keys wouldn’t work. Fortunately the housekeeper was there and was able to check we had the right room and let us in. While my husband went to sort the keys, I looked round the room. You use your key at the door to put the electricity on. A wee square entrance with the bathroom on your right. There was enough room to store our suitcases out here. Then straight ahead the room door. The room opened up to a lovely clean room. We had twin beds. The wardrobes had beautiful shutter type sliding doors with extra pillows and blankets on the top shelf. A safe which is free. Plenty hanging space with plenty of hangers for once then shelving on the other side. A lovely mirror on the wall allowing you to see yourself. A nice big desk area with a tv above, a bin and a fridge which had nothing in it but we filled from the supermarket. There was also a kettle with teabags but not coffee. The one thing that impressed me were 6 plug sockets with USB ports too. Plenty lights too such as little ones for reading. Beautiful lights on the wall and another one above the fridge. This led out to the balcony which was a decent size with a table and chairs the sun came round from lunch time and also covered above. The beds were twins for us. Lots of room and I found the mattress just right for me. The bathroom was a good size but the walk in shower seemed to flood the bathroom every time we used it. The toilet looked like it should have had a door on it but appeared to be missing but was fine for the two of us, The adult pool area was regularly busy but you could always get a bed. The pool bar by the adult pool wasn’t always open but the self service was fine and the staff were helpful on the odd occasion that I needed help. The toilets nearby were clean and ok to use. The family pool has a large area too, the pool bar here had food available between 11-7pm apart from a heavy downpour meaning the staff needed time to clear up all the mess. The self serve ice cream needed a bit more freezing but the food was fine for eating if you were looking for a snack. The toilets here were clean but didn’t flush well. There is a nice grass area near the wooden heart that could be used for sun loungers and it was
