One of the biggest compliments I can give this place is that it doesn’t feel like a hotel. It’s got that kinda Centre Parcs vibe but warmer / better! Nice tree lined area near some great golf courses. We stayed at the IC Santai before and this place was just as good, if not better!? I’ve barely got anything negative to say about the hotel. The coffee machines were very hit and miss. That’s probably my biggest grumble. So that says it all. My other comment was that the check-in and check-out although was very smooth it was a bit meh. No big intro, no drink, no nibbles, no big goodbye, i was fine with it tbh but others could question it. We stayed in a lake Villa room with the swim up pool and the room was super. Lovely balcony which got plenty of sun, nice big spacious living area and bedroom and the kids loved the spa bath which made very good bubble baths. You could get breakfast and lunch delivered to you and you could book in at the small and quaint lake restaurant every evening for no extra cost which was a delight with some lovely lamb chops and chocolate hot cake for pudding. Worth it just for that. The swim pools were great, I was pleasantly surprised at the pool temps considering the time of year but you certainly had to keep moving to keep warm. The big slides were great fun. The height guide was 135 but tbh as long as your kid can swim, has a life vest on and is confident you’ll be fine if they are circa 120cm /5+. And that pool was the warmest. The kids pool area was turned “on” between 10.12 and 2.5pm but you could still use it inbetween times. Big slides could only use between those times but that’s more than plenty. Beach was nice, only 50 paces down to the water and mainly sandy. Nice long stretch of coast there if you fancy a nose at the other hotels and no-one trying to sell you stuff. Food was really good. This is where we found the hotel really excelled as our 2.5 YO has ALOT of allergies. The guest relations team was excellent at helping and understanding. They basically let you decide what you would like and when and you can hand write your own personal menu. A really nice touch. The food in the buffet area isn’t labelled with what allergies it has / Hasn’t got so need to use your common sense on that front. Breakfast was my fav, plenty of hot and cold options, plenty of eggs and halloumi cheese, their hash browns were lovely and the kids (and adults) went mad for the pancakes and crepes. Dinner was also nice and varied with a different theme every night and always a nice mix with some regular options for the less daring. Kids club was good, I personally want to spend as less time as poss in there but kids enjoyed it in there, plenty (too much!) for them to do. The animation staff were all lovely, kids disco in the amphitheatre was nice and had some nice activities like the bubbles and pool party to keep them entertained. One night something was happening outside but too late for my 2 after being on the go all day. P
