Jingtie Hotel (Beijing West Railway Station South Square)

My husband, toddler and I loved our stay at Hidden House. Our room was spacious, clean, and had stunning views. The staff was super helpful, always just a wechat message away. Also free laundry!!

This hotel is right next door to BeijingXi (West) Station, which is great. I chose this hotel due to early train (but was cancelled due to wind storms here). The hotel receptionists were lovely, kind & helpful. The guard(?) was hoiking up phlegm like no tomorrow. It was disgusting. Perhaps do that outside but not in the hotel reception. It claims to be a 'no smoking hotel', but the walls are thin & I could hear the room nextdoor opening their window, which coincided with fresh cigarette stench. You can smell smoke all thru the halls. I know, as I got lost a few times trying to find the lifts. Signage would be helpful. If there was a fire....good luck! The room &bathroom was very clean, but there was a fecal wiff coming from the bathroom pipes maybe? Might want to get the source of that sorted. I couldn't relax there, so I left. I was offered another room, but gaslighting me with 'but this is a non-smoking hotel' shtick was laugh. It is a perfunctory venue. I'm now at the Yun-Zen JinLing Lotus hotel, a quick toddle across the plaza, classy room twice the size with a deck& zen pond at half the price/night.

I booked the Jingtie Hotel during transition from flight to train, the location is great, just next door to the entrance of the Beijing West Railway Station, very convenient. The front desk clerks are very friendly. The service and room facilities are also excellent.

Location is good, just walk opposite Beijing West Train station. Room is spacious and clean. Bad thing is the hot water take 30 min to come, suffering during winter. Lobby need improvement.

I booked a non-smoking family room (2 bedrooms). The room is clean and there is no smoking smell, there is also a purifier and a fan in the room. The amenities in the bathroom are very nice, the maid did the room everyday with 4 water bottles per day. The worst thing was the smoking in the corridor/hallway/elevator, although there are the signs of prohibition. The breakfast was 7.00-9.00 am. and no water !!! no glass/cup, no coffee or tea. *** !!! I saw Chinese people use a bowl for drinking milk, it was a very amazing experience, once in my lifetime. 😑 Therefore, I recommend booking a non-smoking room without breakfast because their location is very good. Anyway, if you have other choices, you should not select this hotel. สำหรับคนไทยค่ะ อยากบอกว่าที่นี่ไม่เหมาะสำหรับคนแพ้กลิ่นบุหรี่ เพราะต้องฝ่าดงควันบุหรี่ภายในโรงแรมก่อนถึงห้องค่ะ แม้ในห้องจะสะอาดดี ไม่มีกลิ่น แต่มันก็ทำให้เราแย่ได้เหมือนกัน แถมอาหารเข้าคือแทบจะเป็นมังสวิรัติ โปรตีนที่มีคือไข่กับเต้าหู้ จะบ้าตาย ไม่คุ้มค่าอย่างแรง เทียบกับโรงแรมที่ไทยในราคา/ระดับเดียวกันไม่ได้เลย แบบเลยยยยยยยยย ข้อดีของโรงแรมคือ ทำเลดี ห้องดี แม่บ้านดี จบค่ะ (ลูกสาวชอบห้องมาก มีเต้นท์ มีตุ๊กตา ตรงปกในรูปอยู่ค่ะ) การเดินทาง: สถานีรถไฟ Beijing west railway station ให้ออกทางป้าย south square นะคะ ละมันจะมีแยกอีก 2 ทาง ออกทางไหนก็ได้ตามสะดวก มีบันไดเลื่อนค่ะ ออกมาปุ้บ ให้หันหน้าเข้าตึกสถานีรถไฟ หันหลังให้ south square ที่มีรูปปั้นแดงๆ (เรียกอะไรไม่รู้แหละ) โรงแรมอยู่ขวามือ หรือก็คือ ถ้าเห็น McDonald's และ KFC หันหน้าเข้าร้าน โรงแรมอยู่ซ้ายมือ ข้างๆ โรงแรมเป็นร้านขายขนมชื่อดัง เต้าเซียงชุน ที่อร่อยมั้ยน่าจะแล้วแต่ลิ้นคน ลองซื้อกินดูนะคะ
