We went to this location based on a video that praised the service and facility. I don't know when that went but ... not true. 1- Beaupre is a short driving distance to Ile Orleans and Quebec City - but very limited in restaurants . There are two supermarkets - a Super C and a very expanded IGA. 2- We arrived late on Sunday night - its a good thing I called ahead of time because no one was there to welcome us and I was given the code to a lock box after paying the resort fee over the phone. 3- We were on a third floor walk up - all outside. not exactly the best option for seniors. And - no help carrying luggage. 4- we were charged a daily resort fee - though very little was provided. Wi- fi was included in the resort fee (I don't remember the last time I had to pay for WIfi) There was a sauna inside and an option to go to a spa a mile away - but no room service - limited number of towels (they would not provide extra towels when asked) and the tv in the bedroom was not connected to any service. I guess the resort fee would feel more justified if it was summer and the swimming area was open. 4- the suite /condo was far from clean - and the furniture was in very old and in poor shape - there was a recliner in the living room but no cord to plug it in . 5- Kitchen was adequate for two people - we were provided with a half full of napkins and the basic plates, glasses, etc. No paper towels and the oven and toasters were too dirty to use. 6- The tv service was very limited 7- Our building had individual washing machines which was a surprise - and no laundry detergent was provided I have never written a review for anywhere - but buyer beware -

On the plus side, the location on Mont Ste. Anne near the St Lawrence River is perfect even in the spring to go outside and explore nature and hike within minutes of the resort; waterfalls-Chute Jean Larose and Montmorency's stairs and trails, snow goose park and trails and old Quebec City's fascinating history, architecture and culture. The negative side of this resort however is the old buildings that are noisy with dirty hallways and even our recently partially upgraded interior unit was not well equipped with holes in the couch material, no towel racks and low stock of cheap towels and bed coverings. Resort amenities are sparse with the on-site waterpark closed for the season but we still paid $40/day for 2 bedroom amenities though a nearby sports facility with a relatively large indoor pool and fitness facility was covered.

The good. Units are being renovated which was needed. Not all beds seem to have been upgraded though. Had to switch units, first one had a crappy bed. 2nd one had a much more comfortable one. Had to switch because 3rd floor unit, you have to go up 2 steep flights on very flimsy and wobbly stairs. Very dangerous! They also need staff there on the check in days to deal with issues. Having to wait until Monday is pretty unacceptable.

Spoiled family vacation. Owner Services does not perform its function of Servicing owners. Had to chase the manager to resolve a minor issue.

They need to check the dresser drawers between guests( dirty clothes in drawer upon arrival) Decent place, good location, roomy, and a quick drive into the city.

Between the moldy shower curtain without liner and the used bedsheets not changed in the master bedroom, we were missing items like dish soap , dishwasher soap and burnt light bulbs not replaced! Not recommended at all except for the proximity to the mountains!
