The Bull and Townhouse, Beaumaris- the Inn Collection Group

The location is excellent. Parking was an issue, although you can park along the front before 15th May, after that it is a one hour limit. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The bathroom needed some maintenance attention in that a couple of ceiling lights and the radiator were not working and the shower screen directed water over the bath side. A bit annoying but didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our stay.

We booked a short one night stay to ‘get away’ and booked room 120 (Suite). We booked our evening meal and our room rate included breakfast. Throughout the stay, service was fantastic both at the bar and in the restaurant. The food was excellent and not over priced and nothing seemed too much trouble. We would definitely book again.

We headed out of Liverpool, and headed to Beaumaris we found a teashop we would try when we arrived, the queue was out the door so we headed a block down to The bulls Head chatted to one of the staff,who recommended that the steak and ale pie was lovely, and boy he was certainly mot wrong..it was beautiful..much credit to the man who made that pie...I am such a fussy eater..it was delicious..we will travel 2 hrs again...and defo have this meal again..thanks to the chap we spoke to about Liverpool..ur right ..didn't even taste any ale in that pie..lol..carol

Stay here quite often. Beans are back on the breakfast. Handy location. Excellent bed and room. Sunday lunch was cold but got sorted. They were busy. Nice smoking area out the back under cover.

Took our mother in law there for mothers days dinner and the food was awful! My risotto was totally tasteless and overcooked, my wife’s shepherd’s pie was described by her as brown sludge. We ordered two dishes with ‘soft poached egg’ - one had a rock hard yolk and the other was a fried egg. We sat for ages waiting to be served as we weren’t told we had to order at the bar. The food here used to be so much better but this was the worst meal we’ve had anywhere in a long time. So disappointing especially for a Mothers’ Day meal. Won’t be going again.

Lot of money for a very poor kitchen offer and and a very worn out room in desperate need for refurbishment ( and a new chef)
