We were here for the airshow and booked about a month out. While there were limited options, at the time this seemed reasonable, considering the high demand. The rate was $379 before taxes and ended up $420 a night. We stayed two nights. While the location is really quite nice, the truth of the matter, the town is so small, everything is in walking distance and I think every hotel, inn B & B in this area would be a great location. Other family members stayed a few blocks away and their accommodations were significantly better and he paid quite a bit less.(To be fair, he booked 4 nights and might have gotten a discount for the 4 night stay) When we arrived, a person in parking lot asked if we wanted help as we were taking trash out from our road stop. No uniform, name tag etc. I thought he was a vagabond wanting a tip etc. Turns out he was an employee. Similarly, as we were entering the inn a lady asked some questions, and I finally asked her, "Do you work her" and she said. "Oh yes, I dont have my name tag on". She was collecting the rest of the charges as we only paid for one night in advance. We knew we would be in a loft room on third floor. The room was quite clean, neat, and appealing. The AC and Hot water ( for the tiny BR) worked well. The bedding and sheets were quite nice. Not so much the towels. The supplied bath products were Walmart like, no luxury bath room amenities. There were no glasses/ cups any where in the room to facilitate drinking water, brushing teeth, taking meds etc. (not even the plastic individual wrapped cups}. Ice was available from freezer on ground floor but no ice bucket to put it in. Two small bottle waters were in the room on arrival. The water was not replaced, and no maid service: no trash removal, fresh towels, much less making of the bed with existing sheets--which we would not have minded. Most surprising was the way breakfast was handled. There was two vouchers for 8$ credit at a choice of two coffee/pastry shops down the road. In other words, we had 4$ per person for each day for breakfast. The had Keurig coffee on second floor and first floor, but honestly, we felt bad going out of the room knowing the doors and walking downstairs would possible wake someone. Unfortunately, we heard doors close, folks walking up and down stairs, at at 6:30 am the people in room next to us waking up as there alarm went off and they seemed to have a morning cough that subsided after 15-20 min, Something we didnt need to know about them. The value is not there—what so ever. I think $250 plus taxes might be fair price. There are very similar options in town, and I would seek them out. We won’t stay here again and will not recommend this INN. They should immediately remove any reference to Bed and Breakfast and the word luxury from their marketing material. I have seen some of their material mention “ guest rooms and inn” and this is what they should stick to. I am not sure, but maybe a sound
