Hotel is old. Old furniture. Old fashioned. But, I imagine people stay jere for the view and the proximity to the main *****. Check in guy wasnt very friendly or welcoming. They were out of coffee at their continental breakfast but the view was pretty and the room was clean.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Holiday Inn in Baytown Texas. We noticed this time they didn't have the same things on their bkfast menu, such as cinnamon rolls, omelets, fruit, and a few other breakfast items. This was kind of depressing cuz that's one of the reasons we like staying there. Even the pancake machine was not working.

Our room had an equipment issue & the staff was on it quickly. Was taken care of quick. The morning breakfast was very good & the lady working the kitchen was excellent. Would stay there again.

Great location, quiet, easy parking. Very clean hotel and room. Our suite was very spacious. Bathroom and shower were huge. I don’t normally sleep well in hotel rooms due to no ceiling fan but I slept like a baby! The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived the front desk host was very polite, helpful and professional. The room was clean and had a fresh scent to it. Good breakfast that morning. Satisfied completely.

I really appreciated the customer service when I arrived, I believe his name was Elijah (could be wrong) but I have had such bad experience everywhere I go with people just not caring or being so unexcited about their jobs it brings you down too! Thank you for the great service & wonderful experience. The only downfall I had was the body wash was empty in the shower, other that that, my stay was GREAT!

It was overall pretty decent aside from the renovations going on and the elevator broke during my check-in with someone on it.

One of the nicest hotels in the area. Friendly service, clean rooms, great staff, and a peaceful/quiet night's rest.

Carpet was so dirty it carried an odor in the room. AC filter was also very dirty which carried a bad smell. There was a coffee spill in the stairwell for the 2 full days we were there and is probably still there till this day. Only thing that seemed to be clean was the sheets. What broke the camels back was a dog was barking on our floor maybe 4 doors down and it took about an hour of complaining for it to stop. This is around the time of 11:30PM. Hotel did give half off that night but I feel it should’ve compensated the entire night for waking us up 3 times. Couldn’t get back to sleep until 1AM and left early that next morning for a 6 hour drive. The poor compensation is what drove me to write the review.

The hotel staff was very professional and friendly.

Construction in the room next door, insects crawling around, guest adding to the room we were in and trying to come in on us while we were sleeping

Breakfast was outstanding. The elevator was really slow.

Pre-checked in early due to business meeting. Could not access room which was ok, but we were put into the system. upon arrival for check in later that evening, they did not have the room we reserved; no ,more king sized beds. Took queen.
