I'm not sure why it has negative reviews but don't listen to them. We loved it here. All the staff were great and eager to help. The food was lovely with lots of fresh local food to try and some more "European" options if you'd prefer, (I'm addicted to any form of borek now), and they whipped up any drink you could think to ask for both alcoholic and non alcoholic for the kids. There is plenty of options of places to eat throughout the day - the opening times of these depends on the time in the season - and a shop with snacks to purchase if you can't find anything you fancy although we never found ourselves lacking in options. Some areas weren't yet open but the opening dates of the different facilities are clear in the holiday description so as expected. The place is clean and there was plenty to do despite some unexpected rainy, cold weather over our weeks stay, even when some of the slides etc were understandably closed as it would have been unsafe to use them in such weather. The hotel itself is in a spectacularly beautiful bay. Even the thunder storms looked amazing over the sea from our balcony. We booked at superior room with a sea view and it was clean and comfortable. The hotel is brimming with one off art pieces which make the communal areas and corridors much more interesting than most hotels and their generic artwork. Kusadasi is a lovely town to visit and is close by via the buses that stop at the hotel gates. Lots of bargains to be had and icecream to eat. Ephesus is a must see while you're there. We always try to visit new places and this is our third stay in different areas across Turkey but we were already looking at booking here again for our next holiday.
