Villa Baviera, Hotel Baviera Chile

We made a reservation for two nights. They were very accommodating to our needs and questions. No need to pay in advance to reserve, maybe because it was low season. However, when we arrived, we found a not well-maintained hotel, stains in the carpets, kind of old furniture, elevator not functioning. Our rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes, although it was clearly indicated in each room that smoking was forbidden. We needed Internet, and it wasn't available on our floor (the third one). After communicating all these problems to the receptionist, she made all the possible to find a solution for us. We were offered other rooms (1 of 3 visited had a strong cigarette smell) on the second floor that had an available but weak Internet signal. We visited the game room, with a pool table with only 12 balls, and 1 of them broken. This place has a lot of potential, but when we visited it there was nothing really appealing besides the price. It will be a pleasure to talk to the management to provide some advice. Thanks to Caroline, the receptionist, that tried to help us as much as possible!
