This BnB is a small (3 units) in Baudin Bay, about 10km from Penneshaw. You do need a car to get to this BnB and it is not located near any facilities. This is a family run/owned BnB. The unit is like a small studio, with a small kitchenette and bathroom. Breakfast is provided and you are able to use the kitchen facilities located outside of the unit. Breakfast is left in the unit and the homemade waffles are in the main kitchen freezer. I was out to catch sunrise each morning, so it was perfect to be able to take the waffles with me and eat them while exploring. While I loved this BnB and enjoyed talking with the owner (she gave so many great places to explore), the location is not convenient for exploring the far end of the island (around Remarkable Rocks), as driving back after dusk takes a long time (almost 2 hours). [Please be careful when driving after dusk on Kangaroo Island so you do not hit a kangaroo or koala, I had to stop numerous times for kangaroos and once for a koala]. In addition to the typical Kangaroo Island activities, I do recommend: — heading up Prospect Hill at sunrise (lots of steps). — going through the cave to get to Stokes Bay — pay extra for the guided tour at Seal Bay Conservation Park (you are able to get relatively close to the seals with a guide) — go get a lavender latte and lavender ice cream at Emu Bay Lavender Cafe and Farm
