Thank You to all the staff the service was nice..I have a good expereience for my first time visit Batam Indonesia. The reception very sweet and nice especially Derwina (if not mistaken about the name) and the guys who work night shift on the 27 December i forgot to ask the name. The breakfast also nice they have live cooking. The location near with harbour bay terminal ferry less then 10 minute by car. I really recomended the hotel for those who want to visit Batam.

Needed a massage getaway to Batam. I previously stayed at Aston and was quite happy, but the price at the time of my visit was around 2x the usual due to the holiday season. I paid only around 50 sgd, really affordable for a king size room with a bathtub and sofa in the room. Property itself is older and in a way less clean than Aston but the breakfast was way better.

Stayed in room 553 for 2 nights. Had a mixed experience of both good and terrible so I’ll try to review objectively. Location wise it’s located in city center so convenient to grab a taxi or even walk to the Nagoya hill and nearby places. Good selection of breakfast options and the food from live cooking station was superb, especially the fried rice Regarding cleanliness, the reception was clean as expected, the 5th floor hallway had a smell of bad odor, but the room itself was relatively clean. Bathroom walls had a bit of mold stains left tho. As for the service, the female receptionist ( I couldn’t get the name correctly but something like ‘Diswannii’ ) was especially rude. The day before our checkout we went to the reception to ask about where to buy ferry tickets from Batam to Bintan to one receptionist but she couldn’t speak English I presume, called for the rude female receptionist. Then we proceed to explain to her that we want to get to Bintan with ferry tomorrow and want to know where to buy the tickets and how to get there. She told us to get to Batam harbor and we can get the tickets there and get to Bintan In reality we have to go to punggur ferry port to buy and get on board She could’ve resolved the issue by either stating that it was a simple misunderstanding, but what she did was “FROWNED HER FACE AND RAISED HER VOICE “ towards us and was being very aggressive tone of voice towards us and trying to put the blame on us.Which is totally unacceptable. A hotel having such kind of employee is at risk of damaging their reputation Last point is their bed, me and my girlfriend had REALLY good night sleep during the stay which we think is due to their bed.

A nice large room, but weak aircon. Partially because some rooms face the seaside, so direct sunlight throughout the day keeps the room warm. Definitely a bit old, could do with a renovation. Breakfast is pretty good, live stations for "goreng" & eggs.

A family friendly hotel with great service and cleanliness

We were super intrigued at how they are able to recognize their guest and greet them accordingly at the lobby. They noted on our request for a birthday celebration and offered to surprise my friend by delivering a platter of cake. However they even gather their entire team just to come by to sing a song for the surprise celebration. The hotel service was great, breakfast was great! Perhaps only the shower is a little run down and towels were a little old.

Was apprehensive after reading the reviews. But this hotel had many pleasant surprises! Inwas greeted with a massive lobby. Space is what this hotel has. Corridors are wide. Rooms are larger than normal. I needed a quiet room to rest after a long week at work. I was allocated a room at the rear of the hotel, come 9pm the karaoke opposite the street started. Oops! But Yuli, who had a great smile from front desk reception was at hand to assist me select another room which was more pleasant and had a garden view. She called me by name the following day as as well! (Maybe coz I forgot my passport, double oops 😅) Breakfast selection was good. Trays were full to feed the many guests. There was a cooking station to literally a fire wok to whip up hot and spicy local noodles in the morning. Nice 😀demonstration. But the chefs can’t make poached eggs which is my travel comfort food. Tried over two days 😔. I selected this hotel because it is one of the few hotels that had a bathtub at a reasonable price. I like to soak myself to relax and unwind. COMPLIMENTARY shuttle to/fro Harbour Bay Terminal (5min). Only found out on check-out. Ms Yuli was again on duty to assist me. And she gracefully walked me to the car. The hotel driver was also full of smiles and he was conversational and made my journey very enjoyable. What great hospitality. In summary, this old dame of a hotel (changed name 4 times) still has grand old charm and is well-maintained for a pleasant stay. Hit a like if you found this useful ☺️

Near to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal Breakfast is nice with variety choices

I had a positive experience at AP Premier Batam, primarily due to its strategic location and comfortable accommodations. The hotel's proximity to shopping areas and ferry terminals made exploring Batam incredibly convenient. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, contributing to a relaxing stay. The staff were consistently attentive and accommodating, which greatly enhanced my experience. Breakfast was a definite highlight. The extensive buffet offered a diverse range of options, but the live-station mee goreng and fried rice stood out, showcasing excellent 'wok-hey' flavor. While the coffee machine was disappointing, the quality of the cooked-to-order dishes more than compensated. Although the swimming pool's maintenance could be improved, this did not significantly detract from the overall positive impression. I would confidently recommend AP Premier Batam to other travelers seeking a comfortable and well-located hotel in Batam.

The whole experience was not bad, a pretty good-looking room and also the amenities. Except the part where deposit was given upon checking in, I have to wait for them to check the room. Either the process was slow or what I'm not very sure, but after waiting for probably about 20mins or so, they did not call me out to tell me it's done, I have to ask the counter in then I found out that cleaner has done checking the room.

I got a big room with a Kingsize bed. Clean room, corridors etc. price was reasonable. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
