Montigo Resort Nongsa

We had a great experience at the resort, the Montigo teams are super friendly, kind and helpful, the Montigo Cabin sales person went all in to help both my kids with their batik craft and making sure both of them enjoy even without our present. the Montigo wellness staff are polite and nice. especially my therapist San San she so sweet and very friendly to chat with and I enjoy my hot stone massage so much. Our resort room are very spacious and we love the indoor pool and the king size room view and bathroom. but we notice that all sofa are kindly dirty, there's either crumb like stuff or white powdery dust on it not only for our room but also our friends and family room too. Tadd's Restaurant staff are very attentive to everyone who dine in. But as a vegetarian we are happy that there are vegetarian option but it would be better if the staff are more knowledgeable of different kind of vegetarian. Like us we are Latco Ovo Vegetarian we take egg, milk but we don't eat food that contain 5 alliums.(Tips: if you want you can grab food from other place like batam centre..etc) but overall every staff that we meant at the resort are great. I would recommend going for a short trip to enjoy the sea view and let yourself to have a slow and relax moment. for sure will go back again.

This is my 2nd time in Montigo and i came back with my family which is their first time. I am just surprise that from the Immigration we we're not greeted by someone from Montigo to collect our passport together to give it to Immigration so we have to pass the immigration officer one at a time. But there are other guests and in package tour and they don't need to go to immigration officer because someone from Montigo already collected their passport. My first time here also our passports were collected and submitted to immigration officer at the same time and we don't need to go to immigration officer. Same also when we went to Batam view as family our passport was collected by Batam view staff and no need for us to go to immigration officer. We were also told to wait for the shuttle because they have to on board first those package tour guests then when the shuttle is not full we were told to go. So it's like there's a VIP treatment for guests. As I've said this is not my first time. Other than that staff in hotel are very friendly and courteous. As for the facilities, all good. Only the Villa does not have utensils like spoon, fork, glass and plates. You will need to request for it. Food for breakfast are very good, a lot of variety to choose. Service is very good also because our guest room has water leaking from aircon and they fix it immediately.

Service was good from start till the end. Despite not arranging transport from the ferry terminal to the resort, we were greeted by the resort staff and were able to hop on to the chartered bus to the resort. Booking of recreational activities was flexible. It rained all 3 days when we visited but we could still squeeze in some time for watersports when the rain settled. The room was extremely spacious and scenery was 10/10 from the room - even from the toilet. There was a good variety of food options and was value for its serving size. Thank you montigo resorts for the amazing experience! Will definitely visit again especially when the beach club has been renovated!

Second trip here. A lot has changed since covid period. Best to go during weekdays to avoid the crowds plus fast service on the buggy requests

Overall, the service was very good and staff were friendly. However, there was no ‘extra mile’ service and if you have no expectations, this is a decent and no frills holiday destination full of families, kids and corporate offsites. I personally will not patronise this place again as I would like a more exclusive and luxurious resort as a young adult. Limited food options so you will have to book in advance. We wanted to patronise the Japanese restaurant but it was fully booked by an entire company for the company dinner. Plus point is that every villa has a private pool so if you just want to stay away from everyone and do nothing but enjoy your private space, this is good too.

Guest Service Associate Isra was really helpful and patient throughout the stay. Excellent service provided by the hotel and lots of activities and food options available. All the staffs there was really friendly.

The private pool was a highlight – we spent hours just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Every staff member was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. From the dining experience to the little surprises throughout our stay, it was clear that they put a lot of effort into making the occasion feel unique. If you’re looking for a luxurious getaway with amazing service, Montigo Resort is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

Montigo Resorts overall average Good : Private pool, Nice sea view, amiable staff with frequent checks from them. Spa massage was alright but loads of mosquitoes at waiting area as well. Otherwise 2 bedroom sea view villa For the price paid : Quite inconvenient place Old place , part of wall falling apart - see photos Wall cracks Towels were not clean Loads of mosquitoes esp at living area - really need the repellent Electric plug should be given in living room as well No day curtain at living room- was not able to watch TV as too bright Between no TV at master room. Would be great if there was one there as well. Insufficient amenities : shower soap, shampoo Bed was not comfortable to sleep in - could not sleep ! Breakfast buffet not variety of dishes even so not that great Food at resort area is expensive In house dining not tasty Quite disappointed to be honest. We booked an earlier ferry to return back. Unfortunately will not be returning to this resort

When i first book this resort, i didnt know that it was a 3 storey villa, so my friends and i were very surprised when the staff gave us the villa tour. Everything was perfect. The service was top-tier. The breakfast buffet was the best. They are several station for the breakfast buffet including for western food and indonesian food. They even served jamu. The resort was big but worry not you can move around with buggy service.
