Overall, a pleasant stay. The staff was great. The facilities were in a great location for sightseeing the Shenandoah Valley region. On-site and area shared amenities were plentiful. The unit was spacious and included all the comforts of home, plus it included a large jacuzzi tub. The only real drawback was the age of the furniture; sofas and chairs need replacing, although the master suite bed was comfortable. Overall, a pleasant stay. We would recommend this facility!

This property needs updating and some items are safety issues. The balconies were blocked because of needed repairs. We love to spend time relaxing outside. No mention till sign on door. Info in packets are incorrect. Pool hours till 8 on weekends but closed at 6. Reported dead ants , tile coming up in kitchen, loose boards on outside steps on Saturday. Never did see maintenence. Other issuses not reported some hand rails loose, stained carpet. Beds do have a thin topper but caused lumps in bed. Unit was clean and the 3 bedroom is spacious. Main tub is sunken so if short or elderly can be a challange. Kitchen items were good. Only had trash bags and dishwasher tabs for 3 days. No dogs allowed but unit next to us had a dog and did not see a service vest. Enjoyed the pool table. Washer and Dryer were decent. Couch had dead ants and was stained. Will not return. Beautiful area.

This place and the staff are great. The staff are always glad to see you. They are quick to help if you have an issue. Skiing and golf on site. All types and sizes of units available...Nearby caverns. Potato chip factory just down the road. Go and see chips made.

We arrived Dec 23 and left a day early, opting to drive on Christmas Day rather than spend another night. While spacious and in a lovely setting, I am not exaggerating when I say the interior has not been touched since the 70’s with the exception of a new stove. The odor of bacon we did not cook hit us immediately and never subsided. The beds had eggshell toppers in effort for upgrade but we still rolled to the middle and each slept clinging to an edge. The carpet was a “no one take your socks off” situation. There was trash outside our back patio that remained. Giving it two stars because the linens were clean and plentiful, and the fireplace and sauna both worked. We did not use amenities but they appeared intact and the staff was friendly. In the car on the way out my son asked my husband if he’d seen the wad of bubble gum stuck in the shower they both used. Mercifully, he had not, and I’m sad because I would have taken a photo. AVOID.

Such a beautiful area however we did not get to enjoy our room since we used it as a landing spot to see other sights. There are some beautiful parks, caverns, scenery all close by. The Copper Kettle at the adjacent resort had really good food. The 3 bedroom was very spacious and clean (just needs a little update with the carpet). The office staff was very friendly and helpful and check-in and out were simple.
