Sunny Baška Hotel by Valamar, ex Corinthia

Everything was great; the staff was friendly and helpful, with easy access to the beach. The food was fresh and delicious. The check-in and check-out process was very easy through the app. Even if you need anything, the app is a great tool! We will be back again.

Great for families, this was an extremely late booking, and I knew what to expect as one half of a couple. My choice was for the proximity to the beach, outdoor and indoor pools. Having stayed at the Valamar Diamont in Porec the dining experience was not as good at Baska, more of a cafeteria atmosphere due to the families, whereas at the Diamont there was a more sophisticated atmosphere, Buffet style at both but better food and calmer at Diamant. Juice and coffee provided at breakfast and brunch but not at dinner. You have to pay for water, juice etc. at a bar in the dining room Bedroom and shower room on small side but adequate although the shower temperature varied constantly between hot and cold. No armchair in the bedroom and the public lounges furniture scant and not as comfortable. Also pool tables and other family entertainment takes precedence. Excellent WiFi, even by the pool. 2 euros a day for use of hotel towels round the pool which was free at the Diamont by comparison. Parking free and checking in online before was very good. On checkout day you are entitled to brunch and stay the rest of the day at the pool and car park until ready to leave which is a bonus. We personally would avoid a Valamar Sunny hotel in the future but rate the Valamar hotels highly overall. All the staff are very efficient, friendly, and helpful.

We went to the Welness of Hotel Corinthia. Had a massage from Philip and Franka. Was very nice. Philip is also a fysio therapist and also gave good advice. Franka gave me a very good massage, all painfully spots are loose but also very relaxing. The swimming pool here is very relaxing! Thank you!!

Personal is very kind and helpful. Food was decent with enough choices during all three courses (7/10). We had a luck and got a room which was the whole day in a shade with beautiful look to the mountains. Hotel interior could be modernised… indoor and outdoor pools was also a pleasant experience except early morning hunting for parasols and sunbeds

We were in this hotel with a family (2 adults and 2 kids). Honestly speaking, this is a very nice hotel, with large and clean rooms. Breakfast & brunch, as well as dinner were great and rich. Every meal contain minimum 1 type of fish and several types of meat. I would truly recommend this hotel for families with kids! Overall - amazing value for your money!

Great hotel location, friendly staff, there are various additional things to do within the hotel and on the island, places/things to see or just to relax and chill on the close by beach or in a numerous near by beach bars .. I defenitely would not mind going back there again!
