Barton Guest House

The hotel is located a short 10 minute walk, albeit slightly uphill, from the train station, and there are regular buses on the road outside. The hostess was exceptionally wonderful and accommodating, and was happy to hold onto my case for a few hours prior to checking-in. She also graciously afforded me a slightly later check-out so I could do the local Parkrun in the morning then shower before leaving. Additionally, knowing I would be running early and therefore not personally wanting a big cooked breakfast, she made me a sausage sandwich for a more portable energy boost, though I saw other guests' breakfasts and they looked outstanding, with a wide variety of hot and cold options. The room was a single bed as advertised, ample space for a solo traveller, and a functional en-suite with a hot and powerful shower with complimentary toiletries and hairdryer. Tea & coffee facilities were provided, along with several local takeaway menus, and a Freeview TV. The bed was very comfortable and much needed after plenty of walking, and there was no noise from anywhere else in the hotel or the surroundings. Both parts of the room were spotlessly clean.

This is our second visit to this lovely B&B, only stayed for one night. Private parking at the front of the house, lovely welcome by the host. Our room was at the front of the house, very cosy and spacious with an en-suite bathroom, TV and drink facilities. Had a lovely, hot bubble bath❤️Had full english breakfast but lots of other options available too. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely stay again. You can see part of the Humber Bridge from the room, it's an easy to walk to town, and down to the estuary.

I went with to Barton on Humber with a friend for personal trips down Memory Lanes and chose to stay at Barton Guest House because it ticked all the right boxes pre booking. We shared a twin ensuite room. After our stay I can state that we were not disappointed. - Good location on the main route into the town. - On site parking. - Excellent communiction with/from Rachel the owner - Room with walk in shower requested and provided. - Clean and comfortable accommodation throughout. - Wide choice of items for breakfast with a very good and well cooked English Breakfast. Would I stay there again? Yes, definitely. Would I recommend to a friend? Yes. Already have.

Our room was large the facilities good the breakfast outstanding and the owner friendly, welcoming and helpful. Had a wedding to attend, so stayed two nights. Slept really well. Bed very comfortable. My husband even enjoyed a freshly laid egg from one of the resident chickens. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.

A very nice BnB at a good price. 3 of us stayed over before a ride the following day. All rooms are well laid out and well appointed. As we was setting before breakfast started. The lady left us out a nuce selection of continental foods. Thank you

A fantastic B and B. Very friendly and acomadating . The room was very clean with a spotless en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfy and I had a great nights sleep. 10 out of 10 from me. I can't recommend them highly enough.
