Wow, what can I say. First off this is a cheap and cheerful Travelodge, do not go here if you are expecting luxury. However it is immaculate and has all the basics! It is quiet and relaxing considering how close you are to the road and airport. There is free parking. The biggest bonus though is the staff, i am so sorry I can't remember everyone's name, I do remember Chris. These guys are amazing, they are so friendly and helpful when you arrive, they introduce themselves and the team that are on and tell you everything you need to know. Their customer service is second to none, I've stopped in every type of hotel going and NOBODY has beaten these guys. And it wasn't a generic, rehersed script, they came across as genuine and authentic. Everytime you saw them they had a smile and a little chat. You kinda of forgot it was a travelodge as it was so personal. I don't know if Travelodge do awards but these guys need one. Personally I have had a difficult couple of months and took a trip to Cardiff after needing to have a change of scenery, these guys might not know the impact they have, but they absolutely made my weekend. Well done xxx

Have stayed here before when going to get an early flight from Cardiff, excellent location only a couple of miles to the airport. Standard Travelodge but good value. hotel very quiet considering it is by a pub. Staff are always very polite and friendly.

We have stayed a number of times at Cardiff Airport Travelodge and the staff continue to be both extremely helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect for our needs when visiting family. Never been any issues with noise, cleanliness or maintenance faults. We had a comfortable sleep (once our 3 year old granddaughter had settled down). Having the Toby Carvery next door for main meals and breakfast is ideal.

Stayed in Rhoose Travelodge (Cardiff Airport) a number of times and am always greeted by the lovely staff! A special shout out to Chris, Natalie and Josh. I always need an accessible room and they are always professional and kind. A credit to the company.

Hotel room was very clean and comfortable , lovely location with toby carvery next door was a plus , staff at hotel were very friendly and helpful lovely welcome from Chris on reception on arrival , ear plugs for light sleepers and mints on front desk were a nice personal touch , will definitely stay again

Have stayed here on a few occasions visiting family in Barry. Hotel ideally situated on the edge of the town. Quiet in and around the hotel. Comfortable beds and clean room. Special mention to Josh on Reception, as a solo female guest he gave me the reception mobile number in case I needed anything but didn't feel able to leave my room. Much appreciated.

This hotel exceeded every excitation we had of a travel lodge, chris was absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived, so welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless, and very quiet, we slept like babies and woke up so refreshed for our flight. Absolutely perfect
