We truly enjoyed our time at Casa Svizzera. We were only in Barolo for one night and wish we had been her longer. The location of the hotel was absolutely beautiful. Our room, the Verde, was spacious, beautifully updated, and had a balcony for us to look out at the hills. We also came in the middle of a crushing heat wave and the air conditioning was so strong we woke up to turn it down in the middle of the night. The wonder was helpful and charming. He checked us in at his shop downstairs and showed us up to our rooms in an example of service you don’t see often anymore. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone interested in Barolo

This is the place to stay in Barolo. Amazingly comfortable and well equipped rooms, beautiful views from the room balconies (ours faced towards the hills), lovely breakfast, and such a warm welcome from Angelo. The location is right in the centre of town. There is a car park just below the hotel. There is also a wine store selling the amazing Germano Barolo wines. I also got some stunning grappa made from the grape skins used to make the wine. We also did the vineyard winery tour with lunch. This was also amazing and I would strongly recommend this too. Thank you to the Germano family for such a fantastic visit!

In the old vine yard in the center of Barolo and a great view of the surroundings- both of the small town and the vineyards Stayed in the castle suite- large, nice bed, complimentary drinks (not wine) and snacks. What else to wish for? Only a not so loud air-conditioning...but i would stay there again anytime!

Lovely stay! Rooms were clean, quiet, and very large. Great view from my balcony. Easy check in/check out. I was told we MUST check in by 6:00 which I did not understand at the time. I was driving up from Nice so ANYTHING could have delayed me. Now I understand. The check in is at the first floor wine store and so would have been impossible to check in after the store was closed. We made it with minimal hiccups (a circle back to Nice for a granddaughter’s forgotten passport…it didn’t happen again). Ample parking in the free town lot…but it is a bit of a hike up the sone steps. ..it is a hill town

Suggeriamo sinceramente questa bellissima e interessante esperienza! Struttura nel cuore del borgo, antica, ma ottimamente ammodernata, comoda ed elegante. Camera bellissima (Camera Bianca), spaziosa, arredata con gusto e pulita. Lodevole la presenza del bollitore, con assortimento di caffè, tè, tisane e dolci. Degustazione veramente deliziosa, accompagnata da ottimi vini e dalla cortesia della proprietaria Viviana e del suo cordialissimo staff. Io e mia moglie ci siamo sentiti coccolati, in famiglia!

Posto pazzesco ..tutto molto bello curato e accogliente..probabilmente uno dei posti migliori che abbiamo provato...abbiamo anche aperto una bottiglia di vino che ci hanno gentilmente offerto..quindi nulla da aggiungere😍spero di poterci ritornare..

In una posizione centrale ma comunque silenziosa dopo le 22.00, permette la visita del borgo senza muovere l'auto. Camera molto bella e pulitissima. Il Sig. Gianni che ci ha accolto e che segue anche l'enoteca al piano terra, una persona cordiale e gentile. Un gran bel soggiorno

Struttura verticale in pieno centro, con ristorante/bar ai primi 2 piani, enoteca al 3^ e 6 camere al 3/4^. Noi abbiamo soggiornato in una delle 2 suites. Camera ampia, con eleganza retro, ben accessoriata; letto comodissimo, insonorizzazione perfetta, bagno spazioso con doccia e bellissima vasca da bagno d’epoca. Unici difetti riscontrati: bagno a “vista” (soluzione che personalmente non apprezzo per ovvi motivi di privacy) e la vasca da bagno con tubatura che perdeva (bagnando il bellissimo palchetto in legno). Graditissima la colazione alla carta. Prezzo tutto sommato equo. Parcheggio privato recintato e gratuito. 5 ⭐️

- Unglaublich nette Gastgeber! - Unterkunft vom feinsten ordentlich und sauber. - Frühstück war super. - Zimmer groß, gemütlich und schön. - Lage ist perfekt. - Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es unter dem Hotel (keine Gebühren). - Wenn man will, kann man Wein im Hotel probieren. Fazit: 11 von 10 Sternen von uns!
