Breakfast great, dinners ok staff lovely , Would like to see more variety in the evening meal service with greater quality less choice

The located is beautiful, the rooms a bit outdated but the gorgeous natural surroundings made up for it. We were so happy our first few nights here on our honeymoon! Unfortunately, the hotel hosted a wedding during our final night which completely ruined our experience, and has yet to respond to our complaint. We were informed a wedding would be held at the hotel pool until 4pm on our last day. Absolutely no issue with this at all, and we happily spent the day at the beach. However, after the pool side service the wedding moved to the area directly outside the guest rooms and did not finish until after 11pm that evening. EXTREMELY loud music was blasted all through the afternoon well into the evening, making it impossible to relax and enjoy our room we paid for. My husband enquired as to when the music was stopped, he was told 10:30pm and had to ask the staff a few more times until it was eventually turned off after 11pm. The guests loudly left the venue over the next hour. I was also catcalled by drunk wedding guests while wandering the hotel grounds. This has been reported to the hotel via email after our stay, but they dismissed this as I did not mention it to staff at the time it occurred. As we told them, the delay in reporting this does not affect the severity of the harassment nor the validity of my experience. There was no communication of the ACCURATE timings of the wedding, there was no communication how incredibly loud and distributive the guests and music would be during the event and our stay, and we were knowingly were placed in a room no more than 20 metres from the event by hotel staff, in which is was impossible to sleep or relax in our room during the event, and was still not inform of the above. We paid to stay at this hotel, and the lack of care and response from the hotel after we expressed our complaint three times in person and twice via email after we left is appalling. We are seeking a refund for this last night of our stay, and wished to speak to the hotel on this via email. They have yet to respond to our last email which was sent to them a month ago.

Beautiful resort. Staff super friendly and spoke English. Great food selection at breakfast. Restaurants within walking distance or you can stay at hotel and have dinner. Rooms are small but adequate and clean. Their private sandy beach (as advertised) is very stoney. Bring water shoes. Also they charge €20 a day to reserve your umbrella and 2 loungers on their private beach. That’s outrageous. This should be included for guests. We only stayed a half day at beach. Couldn’t walk on the stones. There is a beach restaurant which serves food and drinks and has a washroom. The pool was refreshing but ladders need another top rung to make it easier to get out of pool for people with shorter legs. Pool bar does not open till 3:30 pm. Restaurant next door has great gelato. We had a rental car so we were able to explore. Great sandy beaches about 5 kms away.

Great hotel beautifully located next to Torre di Bari. Beautiful beach with pebbles right next to hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean, a little outdated but perfectly fine.

We went for a week vacation on this hotel since we appreciated it being close to the beach, and the good reviews online. The location it's perfect, near the beach, and even though we had lounge chairs in a part of the beach where the sand has more rocks, on the other side of the tower the beach it's just perfect and made the vacation in this hotel worthwhile. I don't appreciate swimming pools, but the area in this hotel it's very nice and adequate to the number of guests. Early in the morning they deep cleaned everything around, and I must say that was a huge plus for this hotel: everything was extremely well cleaned IMO. About the rooms: even though I appreciate their old and picturesque look, they are too much outdated and the bathroom was too narrow. I think they could get rid of the bidet and increase the shower area. The mattress was good, and once again the cleaning was above average. Speaking about the food, for us the breakfast was the biggest disappointment. It lacked fruit variety and quality, didn't have pancakes or omelettes, and I expected a larger overall set of options. Dinner was good, "a la carte" from a couple of options for two dishes, with a salad buffet, and also one option of desert. The quality was good but not impressive, and portions were alright. Drinks were not included and were very expensive in my opinion. The staff was all very nice, always making sure we were happy and satisfied, however their English was overall wick compared to German, leading to minor miss communication. The price was too high for what was served, specially if we compare to Spanish Majorca island, where for the same you could pay little above half what we paid in this hotel. Summing up the strongest points for this hotel were the hygiene, location, and simpathy from the staff. I would rate it a low 4 star hotel, with much space for improvement without major investment.

I've spent 2 weeks with my family in the Hotel la Torre. The location was great as it's really next to the beach, on the right the one with stones, on the left a more sandy one. The staff was very kind, friendly and very customer oriented. The kids felt like at home and enjoyed the interaction with the staff and the manager. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The menu was small but the quality of the food was excellent and everyday there was something different. The facilities includes a swimming pool, a tennis and basketball court. We've enjoyed our holidays and we'd be happy to come back again
